LOGINCamila's POV
My eyes widened as I heard that. "What?" I blurted out. Nico said nothing but you could see the shock on his face.
"Excuse me miss, what are you saying?" Asked the man who had brought her here. He looked just as shocked.
"He's the one who sexually assaulted me." She kept saying, pointing fingers at Nico.
"You will be sued to court for defamation if you keep spewing this nonsense." Nico said at last. "I assaulted you? Here?"
Rose nodded proudly.
"Why don't you tell us exactly what happened?" I stepped forward. This wasn't making any sense but I wanted to see how she could push this lie forward. It could be settled once she tells any more lies, and we request to check the CCTV footage.
I didn't know why I suddenly turned into Nico's lawyer but Rose is really pissing me off!
"Yes ma'am, kindly explain to us exactly what has happened. Let me get you right, you're saying this man here tried to assault you? Pick your words carefully--" She didn't let the man finish before she jumped in again.
"He did not try to, he did. He assaulted me sexually right here, just some minutes ago. And this young woman. Instead of her doing something, she joined him too!"
Color stained my cheeks. "I sexually assaulted you too?" I tried pronouncing carefully, then realized I was the only one smiling. Nico was looking dead serious and so was the other guy.
"Then wait here, Missy." He said, then rushed up.
She smiled and proudly walked towards us, "I'm sorry pretty boy. Just because you're handsome and have a little bit of money doesn't mean you can ignore me. Plus, you're wasting precious time with this foolish girl over there."
"This foolish girl who will be your one way ticket. You had better fall to your knees, you and your stupid cat, and beg." Nico said with fire in his eyes. "Because I'm not going to spare any mercy when you're arrested and taken to jail."
He turned to look at me, thick brows arching upward. "How did you even know this woman?"
I heaved in a deep sigh. "Well, she's one of the few problems I inherited from my former marriage."
The man came back, coming with two of the supermarket security. Some people were watching now, wondering where this was going to end.
"Now, I'm not doing this because you've just insulted my own boss, the very owner of this supermarket,"
My ears stretched at that. Nico owned this place? I turned to look at him but he was doing everything to avert my gaze.
"Ha!" Rose threw her head back and started laughing. "Yea right. I have been living in this neighborhood for eighteen months now! And everyone knows this place and many other places are owned by the Chairman. The man who owns this estate."
"Ignoring your sob story, I'm hitting play, so everyone can see that you've been assaulted." Said the man.
"Wh--what?" Her eyes bulged open.
"Neighbor?" Said someone from the customers. "Please," she rushed forward to meet Nico and I. "Please, you have to do everything to kick this bitch out of town. She arrested my son after framing him for attempted rape. She almost got a way with her lies. She's evil!"
The footage played when Nico walked right up to me, leaving her to storm off. Then it showed her bribing one of the security, pointing fingers at Nico and I with the guy giving a nod.
"So, security guy?" The man had been dragged to meet us. "What was she whispering about?"
He confessed bitterly that he would sweep in and arrest Nico for assault, but he flinched and panicked as soon as he saw who Nico was.
"Now you know what you'll do?" Said the guy who Nico had called Gunther. "You'll take her, and hand her over to the police. Are we clear?"
Rose was already taking some step back, about to run, but that neighbor grabbed on to her tight. "Not on my watch!" She slapped Rose hard, and twice. "That's for the trouble you've caused me and my son!"
Nico marched over to her side, "after spending a little time in jail, get ready to move your things from this estate, and go back to the ghetto life where you belong."
Rose was crying bitterly as her cat she'd just dropped on the floor. "No! I will not move. Never! Who do you really think you are? On whose account do you think you have the right to kick me out!"
A smile appeared on his face, "on my account." The security dragged her out and people started cheering.
A young man came forward, staring directly at Nico. "Hey, I know you. We've met before, at...I mean, aren't you--"
Gunther stepped forward. "Sir, miss, we should probably leave now."
Who was this man? Why was he hiding his identity like this? I just hope he wasn't dangerous...jeez! I need to be careful with him.
Once we were out, he offered he would drop me off. I didn't like that he knew where I lived. This creep had seen Caleb and I walking in ealier today.
"You should come with me this Saturday to the opening. If you won't at least invite me over for dinner. Gunther and I."
Gunther was the one driving but he kept quiet all through the ride.
"Look, I appreciate that you're being all kind to me, but I don't need your sympathy. I don't care at all, and I will not be just a dumb woman you'll have wrapped up in your arms for this weekend. Just drop me off and disappear from my life already!"
Silence filled the air left for my heavy breathing. It lasted for several minutes before Nico butchered through it with one heavy question. "I know you're divorced, Camila." It felt strange hearing my own name from him, I didn't remember introducing myself to him! "Your ex husband, is he...one of the Carters? Jaxon Carter?"
I scoffed, the air became chilly making me become tense. Nico had to be like a Mafia or a dangerous drug lord, or both. "What does it even matter to you?" I said at last.
And he heaved out in one muffled rasped voice. "Because I'm going to kill him, if he is a Carter."
Third POV "Please, Savanah, you've gotta help me!" Cried Rose again. She was used to her stupid crocodile tears. Always getting into trouble and waiting for her to solve it for her. "Recap again, I'm so tired of this dumb story. You're telling me that you saw Camila at your fancy neighborhood?""I did, yes! She's living there somehow, I'm not too sure how she was able to even rent a place there." Rose cried out over the phone. "Anyway, you have to help me. There's some rich guy, Nico, we met him at this bar. Very sexy and all. I didn't know he was very powerful but now he's saying I need to move out of here!""I just came out of prison, they arrested me! But they let me go because they'll see to it that I move away from the neighborhood! You've gotta help me punish this guy or something."Savanah smiled,"I'm sorry love..you're on your own." She hung up and quickly blocked Rose's number so her calls don't go through. "I've warned you to stop making a mess getting in trouble like this

Camila's POV This was none other than Rose, Savanah's loyal bitch!"Wait, it's you isn't it?" I rolled my eyes. She looked nothing like her because her hair used to be white, literally white. Now it's a black pixie, looking better on her...focus, Camila!"Camila Torres, the poor low life Jaxon married out of pity." She sneered."Out of pity? Good that's what you think. You know what, good that you're thinking at all, but I don't have time for this nonsense. Since I've cut myself off of Jaxon and his mad family, you're also included.""Okay then, why don't you pay for your vegetables? You can't, because you've been poor and filthy since he left you. How did you even get here in the first place?"Oh no. I didn't want Jaxon to know where I lived. "I don't stay here, you moron." I said defensively. She gave it a thought. "Of course. Maybe you're living with some stupid relative. But I never knew you had any rich relative who can afford living here.""Hold on, let me get the gist right. D
Camila's POVI frowned, watching as the phone rang over and over again. Before Tessa left, she had warned me not to answer the phone. What the hell did he want now?Caleb was inside now, getting all comfy with his new room. Everywhere has been arranged to taste, we just arrived and moved in. God bless my cousin and her parents for doing this for us!Ring!"Oh for fuck sake!" I summoned all confidence and picked up. "What do you want now?"His tone was low, but still filled with anger. "I have been calling for God knows how long. What is going on with you and your foolish pride!""You have just 1 minute before I hang up." I made myself clear. I was the soft minded type of lady to forgive easily, but I can't forget. How could I forget that Jaxon had kicked me, and his son out just like that? For Jaxon, even forgiving him is hard to do.He chuckled. "You know, I like this side of you. Very fierce, sexy even. But we both know it's not going to last long. From the way your voice is soundin
Camila's POV "Thanks Tessa, you really are the best." I said with a smile. Caleb was pouting and didn't even say a word. I could see him from the mirror. "Honey, won't you say thank you to Tessa for her help?" He shrugged. "Whatever, thanks aunt Tessa." "Teenagers." I said cloaking my concern in an awkward smile. "That doesn't mean he should give you that tone. I tell you all the time, Cami. That tone was not proper." Tessa insisted. "Can we not talk about that now?" I cut her off. She always told me to handle the situation more seriously, telling me that I wouldn't want him to become bratty like Jaxon's family, and it always hurt a little. But today will not be the day to scold him. "Sure, fine whatever you say, cuz." She said instantly. Tessa was like my sister, and her parents took care of me like I was their own. "So how's aunty and uncle?" She smiled,"when you call then aunty and uncle, you sound like you're still four years old." I ended up laughing. "Well,
Camila's POV I mean I had always suspected something strange was going on between them. Caleb even made assumptions! I...I just couldn't believe my doubts to be true. I didn't know how long I'd been waiting but finally, Jaxon came back. Blake was not with him. "You seem in a rush. How is she?" I said, even though I was still angry, I needed to know that she was okay. He ignored and kept pacing around. "Jaxon, can you hear me? I'm talking to you." "She could have died if we didn't rush her to the hospital on time, Camilla! Okay? Now leave me alone." "I don't like your tone. What is important is that she's fine now." "But my baby might not be!" He roared out. You could see the anger boiling in his eyes. "Your baby?" The words were heavy and bitter in my mouth. "If anything goes wrong, I will never forgive you okay! You'll pay for it. I wondered why tears weren't flooding from my eyes right now. I was devastated, after all this years of our marriage, he would cheat o
