"Was it your doing" The PA of Ethan inquired vehemently, his gaze ablaze with fury as he confronted her.

Emma raised her head, meeting his unwavering gaze. "what?" She asked innocently, though she was well aware of his reference.

"You are aware of what I refer to, Emma. Cease pretending to be ignorant," he growled, leaning threateningly closer.
