Trouble

Everything changed on Steve’s birthday. It was a great day for him because he loved being the center of attention, and his brother, his friends Derek and Damien, along with several other people had attended the lavish party he threw.

There were drugs and drinks in abundance for everyone to imbibe as much as they liked, and of course, being youngsters, they took advantage of the offer.

They had so much fun and went very wild at the party so much so that Victoria, who wasn’t used to such a scene, became extremely uncomfortable and left early.

As far as Steve was concerned, her leaving the party was perfect because her presence there was stifling to him. She refused to do anything the others were doing and refused to take even a sip of alcohol because according to her, it was against her faith.

She drank only juice and sat in a corner, looking extremely miserable and judgemental in Steve’s eyes. This caused him to feel very embarrassed and he inwardly promised himself never to invite her
