Good - however one thing that grates on me. It is the typical “weak mistress” who the main hero believes 100% to the point he ignores and mistreats the loyal wife. There are like 4/5 of these stories on this site. The ending is fairly predictable but it is well written

Chapter 1 You're Such a Bitch
She was pregnant. Arabella Ruth sat on the sofa hugging her knees, somewhat lost in thought. In her hand was the pregnancy test form that she just picked up from the hospital during the day. Gestation period: 5 weeks. She subconsciously stroked her belly, and her inner apprehension grew stronger and stronger. Three years of marriage didn't melt Ezra James's cold heart, and her single-minded dedication was like a joke on the contrary. But she still can't help but look forward to it, maybe he'll accept the baby... Suddenly, the sensor door at the foyer rang. The man who came in was tall and strong, with a black and gray suit wrapped around his broad shoulders and narrow waist. As his cold eyes swept over, there was not a hint of expression on his indifferently handsome face. Arabella shoved the pregnancy test sheet into her bag as soon as she stood up in a panic, "Ezra..." The man walked slowly into the living room and interrupted her, "Let's get a divor

Chapter 2 I've Loved him for Eight Years
Arabella woke up late to find herself lying in a hospital bed. The smell of the hospital's sterile water was extraordinarily pungent, making her cringe in discomfort. She unconsciously stroked her lower abdomen and nervously tried to sit up. "The baby... My baby..." Emma Smith just pushed the door to come in, seeing this she quickly pressed her back, "Don't move, Bella! You're very weak now!" Arabella eagerly grasped her hand, "Emma, how's my baby?" Thinking about the sight of Arabella lying unconscious on the sofa last night, Emma felt a pang of fear in her heart, "You almost had a miscarriage! It's a good thing you've been sent to hospital in time, thus the baby was saved just in time." Arabella then sighed in relief and smiled apologetically at Emma, "Thank you." Seeing her bestie's glad look on her face from a brush of death, Emma shook her head and asked, "Nothing, but Arabella, when do you have a baby? Why didn'

Chapter 3 You're the One I Want to Marry
It had been too long since she had heard his voice, Arabella caught her breath for a moment. The man remained cold and reticent, but her heart trembled uncontrollably. She called Ezra today not only because she wanted to remind him to go back home to visit his grandpa tomorrow, but she also had her own selfishness. Arabella didn't want to say anything more in Beth's presence, but whispered, "You... When are you coming home?" The man paused for a few seconds, suddenly sneered, "What? I've only been away from home for a few days, and you're already that lonely?" Arabella's breath stopped for a second. In his mind, was she that shabby? What's more, with Beth Ruth by his side, did he have to put words in his mouth so harshly? Arabella took a deep breath, pretending not to hear the mockery in his words. "We promised to go home to see grandpa tomorrow. Don't forget that." "Don't bother me with grandpa's business. Who are you to teach me ho

Chapter 4 Show His Love for Another Woman in Front of Her
The unexpected person was slim and slender, with delicate but sinister eyes, thin red lips and a vague smile. It was Andrew James, Ezra's half-brother and they shared the same father. Although he is the second young master of James's family, he is actually an illegitimate son. His mother was so humbled to be on stage that Andrew wasn't taken back into James's family until he was six years old. Unlike Ezra, who is cold and deep, Andrew James is eccentric and unpredictable. Arabella didn't have much contact with him, and subconsciously didn't want anything to do with him. So when Arabella saw him, she just nodded a little, said "Mr. James" and started to leave. But as soon as she took a step, the man stopped her. Andrew James leans lazily against the door frame, with a slight smile on his handsome face, "Arabella, how come my brother is so relieved to let you, such a beauty, come back by yourself?? He doesn't know how to cherish his own woman. What a pity!

Chapter 5 We Had Sex Almost the Whole Night
The large room was suddenly filled with only the grandfather and grandson. "I'm not dead yet, and you're in such a hurry to bring her back? What, do you think I've lived too long to trouble you?" Arthur James coughed every word out. Ezra frowned and said, "Beth has recovered from her illness. It's time to come back. Her home is here, and she grew up here, she can't come back just because of Arabella?" Arthur James nodded angrily. "No, I can't control her, but I can control you!" He stared at the man in front of him, "Promise me that you won't divorce Arabella no matter what, or I won't rest in peace even if I die." "Just take good care of yourself, grandpa." "You shameless black sheep are trying to piss me off, aren't you? What's wrong with Arabella that you don't like her and run off to the vixen?" Ezra pressed his lips together and said nothing for a moment. There is nothing wrong with Arabella. She is beauti

An anxious male voice came out while she spoke. Before Arabella could react, the man suddenly ran forward quickly, knocked her away, and directly supported Beth Ruth on the ground. "Beth, are you alright?" Arabella was knocked out without any defense. She almost lost her footing, but her hands subconsciously protected her belly. When she looked up again, Beth Ruth had already stood up with the help of Ezra. The worry in the man's eyes were things she had never seen before... Beth Ruth looked up, but when her eyes met Arabella's hand that was covering her belly, she was stunned. Ezra drove Beth Ruth back to their place, a small cottage on the outskirts of town. Beth Ruth was weak and fell asleep after crying for a long time. She fell asleep in the car. When he arrived home, he put her in bed and covered her with the blanket, kissed her brow compassionately, and was just about to get up and leave when his hand was pulled. When he turned around, he only saw that Beth Ruth had woken up at some point, and was now looking at him with red eyes, carefully saying, "Brother Ezra, I really don't blame Arabella for this, just pretend it's over, okay? Do not pursue it any further..." "Beth ..." Ezra looked complicated. Beth Ruth sat up and clutched his hand in supplication, "Brother Ezra, please! Ezra just felt his throat ache as he gently stroked her head, "No matter what happens, Beth will always be the

Ezra was working in the study when someone suddenly knocked on the door. Beth Ruth wore a home dress and walked in with a cup of coffee. "Ezra, why do you have to work in my place?" Beth Ruth tilted her head and gently kissed the man on the forehead. She asked, "If you have any troubles, you can tell me." After a moment of silence, Ezra looked up and said in a hoarse voice, "Beth, I seem to have found out the cause of my parents' death!" Beth Ruth was a little surprised. She thought for a moment and asked curiously, "Didn't they die in a car accident?" "We have new evidence today," The look in Ezra's eyes instantly became ruthless. Grace Ruth hadn't seen her daughter for a long time. She blamed Arabella for looking skinnier and kept asking her to eat the dishes she liked. Arabella didn't dare to answer his mother's question directly. Even she was pregnant and didn't know what to say. She could only smile and say, "I'm doing very well. A few days ago, I went back with Ezra to see his grandfather. He took good care of me." But now, he is with another woman... Grace Ruth nodded with relief. Aden Ruth looked up at Arabella. When his wife sat down, he slowly said, "Arabella, tell me the truth. How is your relationship with Ezra?" Hearing her father's question, Arabella was stunned.
