I was lounging on my couch, reviewing the schedule for Ayra's filming, when I heard a knock on my door. I frowned since I wasn't expecting anyone and it was nearly ten o'clock.

Looking through the peephole to check who it was, my stomach dropped immediately. I saw Nathan standing outside, holding flowers and smiling wide. I felt uncomfortable as warning bells began to ring in my head.

While I debated not answering, he knocked again, harder this time. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. He doesn't get it, does he? I wanted to be left alone.

He was by no means a bad guy, but thinking on what Ayra said last time had me putting some things into perspective. Nathan was too controlling, and I had to admit that. I'd taken a step back to see if I wanted to push forward with the way our relationship was developing or if I wanted to cut him off, and he does this?
