“Mommy, Daddy, when are we going to go to the Blueland? Our friends have talked a lot about it.”

“Yes, Daddy. I and Carl wants to go to the Blueland even if it is just once before the school resume again.”

“Don’t worry boys, I promise you, soon…”

Liliana did not wait to listen to the rest of their conversation before turning away, tears pouring down heavily. 

That smile, what was happening in there, it was supposed to be her with her pup. If her pup wasn't taken away from her, she would have been around the same age with the two boys. 

‘My promise still stands, Martin,’ she muttered inwardly as the most painful moment of her life flashed in her head again. 

She boarded a cab back to the hospital, hoping Agatha won't be in the hospital yet. She knew how much of a nag Agatha could be. 

The moment she got down from the cab, she hurried to her ward, making sure her sunglass sit perfectly on the bridge of her nose. 

“Ana, where did you went to—”

“I am sorry, I… I…—”

“Wait, is that why you made me search up for where Alpha Martin and his sons could possibly be?” Agatha interrupted her, sounding disappointed. “Even though you want to kill him, burn him down or whatever, for goddess's sake, you just woke up from five years comma!”

 “Can you just focus on yourself for now?”

“I want to do more than killing or burning him, Agatha,” she muttered, tears still running down her cheeks. “Even though I woke up from comma in the next century, I would do worst.”

Agatha who understand or at least have an idea of what her friend is feeling, sat next to her, reaching for hands. “Even if you get mad, even if you want to destroy him, Liliana, can you at least focus—”

“Agatha, there is no more myself. The Liliana I was died that day I was operated on,” Liliana said with utmost sincerity, meaning every words she said. 

Be it five years or five hundred years, she would make Martin pay for everything he did to her— the betrayal, the pain, and everything he stole from her. She doesn't care if she have to go low and high, enter fire, or even give her soul to the devil. 

Cause by the time she would be done will Martin, he would wish to turn back the end of time and present everything he took from her!

“I can't believe he wants a report from all the time he had been away,” Agatha muttered, snapping Liliana out of her thoughts. 

“Who wants report? Your husband?” 

Agatha burst into laughter at Liliana's question. Maybe cause it's been five years. “I no longer have a husband.”

“He sent me out of the house with his mistress” She added, a wide smile on her face like it was a joke. 

“Wait, you mean to tell me that Zach threw you out of your father's house?” Liliana asked, sounding like it wasn't something similar that happened to her. 

Talk about being unlucky friends. 

“He threw me out of that house immediately I finished the transfer process of the house and my inheritance to him,” Agatha continued. “The cars, the shares, everything.”

Before Liliana could speak, Agatha who seemed unbothered like she had moved on a long time, continued. “But you know what? Thanks to Zach, I was able to save my bestfriend. I was able to be there on time…”

“You know what, fuck that motherfucker!!!” Liliana finally screamed the cuss word for the first time since they'd be friends. 

“Liliana, who taught you this?” 

They both laughed for a few seconds before Agatha stood up, reached for her purse and phone. “I have to report to Alpha King—”

“So, you really work for him? The same Alpha King Dablo?”

“Yes, Anna,” Agatha replied. “Why are you asking? Do you know Alpha King Dablo in person?”

“No, but I want to know him in person, Agatha,” Liliana replied bravely. “He is the only who can give me what I want.”

Agatha exhaled deeply before she sat down. “See, Ana, I am never going to lie to you. But trust me, I think I need to have the doctor check up on you one more time before discharge.”

Without giving Liliana the chance to speak, she continued. “Do you know what you are asking for? You want something from a man who is literally a devil. And the Alpha King?” She paused again. 

“Even if heaven, hell and earth collide, he should be the last thing anyone would wish to have any reason to request help from,” she continued. “I have seen many times how those he had once helped ended, especially during the red-blood moon night, Liliana.”

“Alpha Martin, I think it is high time we expand our territory, we have to Conquer the North pack,” Beta Zach said after submitting the documents Martin requested for. 

“Do you know who we are talking about here? The same ruthless devil that won't think twice if he wants to burn down our pack?” Martin asked, trying not to imagine the worst that could happen. 

Bluesky pack was destroyed, their territory taken from them, all because their Alpha dare to challenge Alpha King Dablo. 

“Alpha Martin, I think the only reason we are afraid is because we have not yet settle down and think of ways to bring him down,” Beta Zach said, his words making total sense. 

Martin deliberated over his words for a few seconds before taking his gaze off the document which was equally important for the event that would take place in the next three days. 

“And have you think of any to bring him down cause I am not going to be a party to this suggestion,” he paused. “Except if there is one tangible way.”
