What he is

As I lay awake on the bed, I feel the trembling in my heart. A sweet tingling that I cannot ignore.  His words keep replaying in my mind over and over again.

“Then, get to know me better.”

The corner of my lips unconsciously arch. Now, it’s simply a mission impossible to erase him from my thoughts. Every few seconds, Cain would haunt my mind and I will submerge into a daydream thinking about the way he looked at me, his blue eyes peering into my grey ones, and every line of his facial will pull into a soft smile.

I think I might be going crazy soon if I don’t stop myself early. But then again, it doesn’t seem so bad to have Cain inhabits my head if I get to feel this happy. Everything seems to glow, sparkling like a giant box of jewelry. So, this is how love feels like. And not just love but mutual attraction. Like a double dose of martinis. It got me lightheaded and hovering in bliss.
