Chapter Forty

Kane sighed and stepped out of the meeting room. The women and kids were still gathered around the club. There was a nervous fear that seemed to run through everyone. When he looked around all he saw were a bunch of defenseless people that were in danger. He shook his head and made his way to the bar. There was so much  that needed to be done and he was beginning to wonder if they were going to be capable of protecting everyone here. He thought back to a recent conversation that he’d had with Margo. She had been on the right track and as much as he knew that it would cause an uproar for the older members there was no other way around it.
