Kane knew that Margo was on the verge of tears. Angry at how this woman had treated her daughter and hatred for how she had the audacity to show up at the club and try to take her daughter back to Bernard filled her. Kane sighed and pulled Margo into his arms, forcing her to let go of Maribel’s twin.
“You fucking psycho bitch!” The older woman screeched, wrapping her daughter in her arms as she stared at the blood trickling down her daughter’s cheek.
“You should leave before my better judgement runs out and I let her do to you as she pleases.” Kane growled, holding Margo in his arms.
“You wouldn’t.” She panted.
“I would. I can’t stand people like you.” Machine growled, from his positi
Kane sighed and stepped out of the meeting room. The women and kids were still gathered around the club. There was a nervous fear that seemed to run through everyone. When he looked around all he saw were a bunch of defenseless people that were in danger. He shook his head and made his way to the bar. There was so much that needed to be done and he was beginning to wonder if they were going to be capable of protecting everyone here. He thought back to a recent conversation that he’d had with Margo. She had been on the right track and as much as he knew that it would cause an uproar for the older members there was no other way around it. “Machine, can we talk?” He whispered when the older man sat next to him. “What are you thinking?” Machine asked, tapping the bar for a beer. “I’m thinking we’ve got a
“So what’s going on?” Spencer asked, sitting at the bar next to Margo. “Look, I know that I've been asking for an awful lot of help from you guys…” Margo sighed, taking a sip of her coffee. “What do you need?” He asked, frowning when he was suddenly handed a large stack of papers. “What is all this?” “This is a complete list of the people that Bernard has hired to take us out.” Kane sighed, sitting on the other side of Margo. “We’ve put everything in order from least to worst… Between this and Bernard’s other goons we’re gonna need some major help. Machine is reaching out to the other chapters as we speak.” Dex said, dividing the papers up. “What the hell?” Spencer whispered, looking over the firs
“So Bernard.” Magdalena cooed, leaning forward in her chair.“Yes Magdalena?” Bernard asked, raising a brow at the young woman.“How many times have I told you to call me Maggie?” She pouted.“What do you need, Maggie?” Bernard asked.“Well, daddy asked me to meet with you. I’m assuming that you’re not happy if I’m having to call a meeting with you instead of the other way around.” She chuckled.“Yes. To say that I’m not happy with your father’s merry little band is an understatement.” He sighed.“So then why didn’t you just kill him
Margo stared out at the green grass that had started to turn brown from her position on the ground. She looked up at the sky and sighed. The bright Texas sky stretched out above her as white puffy clouds dotted the bright expanse. She tilted her head back and sighed as the sun's rays washed over her. This was one of the last days that they would get to enjoy for a while.“You okay?” Kane asked, coming to sit next to her on the ground.“Yeah… It’s just that this will be one of the last days that we have any peace and quiet until this is all over.” Margo whispered. “I just want to enjoy it before everything happens. I don’t normally get to take the time to do this…”“Maybe we should go out tonight.” He whisper
“I guess she couldn’t handle it. I don’t really know what happened or how long it was going on. What I do know is that a few months before I deployed she told me that she was pregnant. I was overjoyed and excited. I couldn’t wait to hold my child in my arms. So I started adding on to the cabin and began preparing to welcome my child into the world. Unfortunately, that never happened. Like I said, I don’t know how, when, or why she did what she did but I found out while I was deployed.” He said, sighing as he sat down. “What happened?” Margo whispered. “I found out that she had been having an affair and that the baby wasn’t even mine.” Kane sighed. “I think I could have lived with it and raised the baby as my own but I was devastated to learn that she’d had an affair with one of my best friends.”
I'm sorry that I haven't had the chance to update lately. Seems everyone in my house got sick, including my toddler. I had a pretty gnarly asthma attack as well as a result. I've been exhuasted but I should have a few chapters available soon. That being said I have some pretty interesting updates that will probably leave you with some questions. Again I appologize for the lack of update and hope you'll bare with me for a little bit. I can't wait to hear what you think especially about this newest update. Happy reading, my lovelies, and stay safe.
Margo sighed and leaned back in her seat. Her date with Kane had been amazing and she had loved nearly every minute but the conversation they’d had still weighed heavily on her mind. Tabbitha… Margo sighed to herself. She was the type of woman that could have had the world handed to her and Kane was the type of guy that could have done that for her. What could have happened to have changed all of that for them? Margo couldn’t help but frown as she thought about it. “Hey,” Maribell said, knocking on the door. “Come in.” Margo hummed, stretching her back muscles. “What’s up?” She asked as she stepped into the room.
Ava frowned and leaned back on the bed with a disappointed sigh. He had indeed left her wanting and needy. Her body was heated and pulsing from where he had touched her. She groaned and rolled over on the bed curling up in a fetal position. She wanted his touch but she wanted to keep Kane next to her. She frowned wondering what in the hell was so wrong with that. She sighed and pushed herself up into a sitting position. She went to the bathroom and turned on the hot water letting it warm up. She turned to face her reflection and frowned. She still didn’t know how she had ended up in a situation like this and she had no excuses for her behavior. Instead, she had been excited about the prospect of doing something so interesting when it had been proposed to her and now she was going to be taking over the operations of The Island. It was the chance of a lifetime, however before she could do that she needed to confirm her hold on Kane. She feared tha
