Chapter Nineteen

 Margo sighed as sweat rolled down her face and back. Somehow their game of hide and seek had turned into a game of tag. Even some of the other adults had gotten involved. It didn’t take long  for the game to turn into a free for all. She couldn’t have been more thankful to hear Jess yell at them to stop horsing  around and eat. 

Margo stood between Kane and Maribell waiting in line to get something to eat when there was a loud commotion outside, alerting them to the fact that they had some unwanted visitors. Kane grumbled his dissatisfaction at being taken away from his meal and marched off towards the front of the  club. 

“Both of you stay here.” He grumbled without turning back towards them. 

“He’s a  bit of a caveman, huh?” Maribel
