Taran continues to look through the books while I work on homework. I pause for a moment and look up at Taran. He looks up from his book. I rub my eyes, “I’ve stared at the screen to long, my eyes are starting to hurt.”

“Yeah, this is my third book and the words are starting to run together.”

I give him a small smile, “Maybe we should take a break. It would give our eyes a chance to rest.”

Taran looks at me with lust, “Perhaps maybe we should call it a night? It is rather late.”
