Scary Library

Taran and I are still at the library. I just finished my homework and am now doing an image search with Taran’s description of the Dragon Stone. He’s sitting next to me with another book we got. I’ve noticed that he seems more comfortable since he’s read a couple of books on history. Occasionally he asks questions but not often.

Without success using an image search, I ask Taran, “Would a vampire clan or wolf pack keep the stone or would the thief?”

“What do you mean?”

“Well, sometimes humans pass important items down generation to generation. For example, I have my great-grandmother’s music box and my grandmother’s recipe box after dying. It’s a way to keep the memory of them alive. If a human did take the stone, perhaps they kept it in their family.”

Taran looks at me curiously, “Do you think one of Brehm’s decedents has the Dragon Stone?”

I shrug, “I’m not sure. Was Brehm ever found?”
