Aurelio wasn’t just surprised to see Aryan standing with a facial expression as if all was well with him.

He clenched his jaw and scoffed “Aryan.. When are you ever gonna learn from your mistakes?”

Aryan laughed lowly and rolled his eyes, he looked round the hospital and shrugged. “I wonder what brought Aurelio to the hospital.. Who’s sick among you?”” Aurelio asked referring to his family.

Aurelio said nothing to him but stared at him like a blank sheet of paper.

“I’m talking to you Aurelio Bertram” Aryan said again but Aurelio still gave him no reply.

Why should he waste his time talking to a creature like Aryan?

He shook his head like a father that was disappointed at his son’s bad exam results.

“Are you deaf or something?” Aryan asked already getting mad

“You still have bandages and plasters on you, I really wonder why the doctor let you out of the hospital” Aurelio replied

“Because I have been discharged! And you know what that means Aurelio?” Aryan asked as he took slow steps to him with a side smile

“That the doctor couldn’t handle having an animal like you in the ward , and that’s why they let you out, don’t be full of yourself, neither take yourself so serious because no one else does” Aurelio replied

“Are you insulting me??” Aryan barked madly as he raised his hands in the Air but stopped the moment his eyes landed on Aurelio’s Father that showed up from behind.

“No, I am describing you” Aurelio smirked and rolled his eyes.

“What? Why didn’t you hit me? You don’t have the guts to Aryan, not anymore huh?” Aurelio laughed lowly and could notice Aryan was looking elsewhere, not just looking but staring intently at something or someone.

“You really don’t know what’s good for your body” Mr Bertram said to him and Aurelio chuckled.

Now he knows who Aryan was staring at, his one and only Father.

“Yeah he doesn’t, you see, you should try something more relaxing Aryan…like a coma” Aurelio said to him with a smirk

“You…” Aryan growled lowly

“Ugly creature like you, you shouldn’t have been let out of the hospital. And the next time you show your ugly face up to me, I’mma disfigure it for you more properly” Aurelio said to his ears clearly and Aryan backed off

“No, it is not gonna be as smooth and soft as this is. Aurelio, you would feel the pain I am passing through because of you, I will make sure you lose someone” Aryan laughed as he took slow steps back and pointed his hands at Aurelio like a gun.

His smirk on his face was just getting Aurelio more mad that he felt like grabbing Aryan, pin him to the floor and one by one cut off those dirty and bloody fingers he was pointing at him.

He would have done that now but he considered the people around.

“Aryan….” He said lowly and just then Aryan left with his men.

His last words to him struck his head immediately, ‘lose someone’.

“I won’t say you should not take his word so serious son, you really should..you know now we are involved with a goat in human form, Aryan and his father would never stop even though they keep failing at their every attempt” his father said to him.

“They are foolishly striving for what they can’t get, but we’ll give to them what they deserve” Aurelio replied

“And you need to be a man now, more of a man Aurelio, in health, strength, way of reasoning, your agility, even your relationship now with Erica son”

“we can’t lose Erica, and I know you can do it..now you are the man in charge” his Father said softly to Aurelio as he slowly placed his hands on his shoulders.

Aurelio listened carefully to every word his Father said, and indeed he is right.

“We don’t know who his next target would be, if he wants you indeed to lose someone important to you, I know Erica is more important to you than us now and there is no problem with that at all, you will only have to hold her more tightly, more protection” he said and Aurelio nods his head

“Yes Father, thanks..I have to go see her now” Aurelio replied and looked through the glass windows of the ward and could see Erica was still laying on bed unconscious.

He sighed heavily, “Hey.. she would be okay, she will definitely remember you okay?” his father assured him

“Thanks Father” Aurelio replied and turned around. His gaze landed on Jemma and her mom sitting close to themselves.

Even with what they did, he had her father taken in by the nurse and Doctor.

He could see on Mrs. James face that she was scared and then he scoffed.

“what do we do with them?” he asked his father

“What do you have in mind…?” his Father replied

“She is the reason Erica is in that room now, honestly speaking dad, I would have had her hung in the warehouse and beaten to death but then, If Erica finds out, she would definitely hate me for it..how do I deal with her now?” he replied

“That is true though, Erica has a soft mind and heart, leave her to me..she should be arrested for attempted murder and it will be until Erica asks for her release before we allow that” His father replied

“I don’t know if I will even allow her released” he replied as he glared at Jemma with a death look.

“I know, but we can’t do anything now that we are in an open space, we can just wait ti—” before Mr Bertram said his words finish,

He heard his wife loud voice in the hall. Aurelio and his dad turned to where the voice came from and could see her standing before Jemma, and grabbing her by her collar.

“You witch! Is this what you want now? Huh? Are you okay with it huh!!” she screamed at Jemma as she shook her vigorously and angrily.

Jemma tried to jerk off but she couldn’t, Mrs Camila was just too strong for her.

“Let me be!” she fired back at her

“I should what? You are the reason my daughter is that room and you open your stupid mouth to yell at me??” Mrs Camila screamed.

This time she was getting the attention of people around.

Then, Mrs James stood up to hold her but Mrs Camila pushed her away that she fell to the ground and winced in pain.

“Let my daughter be, my husband is in the ward too!!” she yelled from the ground.

“and who cares about that Insipid creature you call a husband? You are both the same!” Mrs Camila replied, there was no sign of her calming down.

“Do you know the pain you’re bringing upon my daughter now huh!” she added

“She is not your daughter! I am her mother! Get it you woman!” Mrs James fired back as she stood up from the ground.

“Don’t you ever open your mouth and say that again! You can be arrested for that! How dare you??? You were never one to her!!” She replied

“And so? Does this help in anyway now? You—” Jemma trailed off as she got a backhand slap from Mrs Camila.

She looked at her face to see Jemma already had a cut on her face and was bleeding as a result of the ring she had worn and slapped her.

“Jemma!” Mrs. James exclaimed as she ran to her daughter.

“Mom!” Aurelio called out before she raised her hands again to slap her.

“I am calling the cops on both of you” Mrs Camila seethed as she stormed away heartbroken.

“Honey that was too much” Mr Bertram said as he walked to her and wrapped his hands around her shoulder

“Too much? I did nothing! Look at Erica! I even want then dead” Mrs Camila cried out on her husband.

Aurelio was more than sad to see his mom that way, “Mom, please get yourself, Erica won’t want to see you this way..she would remember you for sure” he said softly to her before he turned to walk into the ward where Erica was laying.

Just as he stood by her side close to the bed, he saw her eyes slowly went open.

He was shocked, his eyes went wide and immediately he sat beside her.

“Erica…” He called but she kept staring blankly at the ceiling

“ Honey, can you hear me?” he asked her softly as he took her hands in.

“Sweetheart, my love” Aurelio called her as he cupped her cheeks and she turned to him.

“Who are you?” she asked breathlessly
