His weak point

"Who are you” Erica asked again.

 Aurelio blinked rapidly at her and sat up “Erica...." He called her.

His eyes were already becoming teary!

What is she asking him?

“Erica.. honey, you don't remember this face?" He asked her and she sighed heavily as she turned her face to the other side of the wall.

“Honey, are you being serious right now? It's me your sweetheart” Aurelio said

"where am I? How did I get here?" She asked him as she sat up and looked around.

Aurelio broke down into tears immediately.

This is his worst nightmare, his wife to be..the only lady that captured his heart, the mother of his unborn baby doesn't remember his identity.

"Why are you crying?" She asked him immediately and cupped his cheeks

Instead, he cried out the more and held her hands.

"No, why won't you remember me Babycakes" he cried as she shook his head.

He was more than hurt.

"Where is my father?" Erica asked him lowly.

He paused crying and looked up at her, "That man? You remember him? Why should you!!" He cried out

"First of all, you'll need to remember me honey before I talk about the man that made you this way" he replied and she pouted her lips

"What's your name?" He asked her immediately.

She stared at him blanky and said nothing..

"My name...?" She asked herself and looked around.

"no this is not happening now, no way" Aurelio muttered and then his parents walked into the ward.

 They could see Aurelio seated close to Erica with his head low, while Erica was seated on the bed looking at him.

"You have to remember honey, you can't just forget me" he said

"Did she forget you??" Mrs Bertram asked immediately wide eyed.

Erica looked up at her and gave a side smile that totally confused Mrs Bertram.

" Is she supposed to be smiling?" She lowly asked her husband standing beside her

" I don't know honey, no idea" he replied lowly

" Lola, papito" Erica said to them and Aurelio raised his head up immediately.

"You remember my parents but don't remember me?" He exclaimed and pulled her to a hug.

"Erica no, don't do this, you've got to remember me honey" he cried on her shoulders and Mrs Bertram turned to her husband with a sad face.

"I am your fiance Erica, you're carrying my baby, hope you remember that too, we met at a hotel..do you remember that too?" He asked her

"Ehhhhh, you should stop behaving childish" Erica said to him as she pat his back

" aren't you Aurelio Bertram, my all powerful Aurelio" she smiled

Mrs Bertram turned to her immediately, "do you remember now?" She asked her immediately

"Erica..?" Aurelio called as he pulled away

"Honey, why won't i remember you?" She asked him as she cupped his cheeks.

Mrs Bertram released a heavy sigh, and so did her husband.

" Oh gracious God! Thank you!" Mr Bertram exclaimed.

Erica could not hold back her laughter, she laughed out seeing Aurelio's facial expression.

He looks like a seven years old baby boy crying.

"Goodness, babe" she laughed and pulled him to a hug

"Why did you ask me who are you then?" He asked her 

"I wanted to see your reaction, I'm really sorry I made you cry" she laughed as she stroked his back gently

"You made me scared not just cry" he replied like a baby pouting his lips.

" I'm sorry" she replied with sincerity.

 Aurelio kept looking at her with a pout, she looked down to his lips and back at his eyes.

" Just kiss me already" he said breathlessly as he pulled her for a kiss.

" Oh goodness, these two" his Mom said from behind as she leaned on her husband chest

"Damn, Erica you really scared us" she said and then Erica pulled away from sucking her husband lower lips.

She turned to his Mom and said “Sorry Lola, i won't again" she said apologetically.

" Oh sweetheart, it's okay... At least you remember your family" she replied and went to Erica to pull her in for a hug.

Mr Bertram was standing by the door and then he heard a knock,

That was a cop.

" Oh the cops are here" he said to them all

" Cops?" Erica asked as turned to look at them one by one 

"Yes honey, I need to tell you this" Aurelio said to her as he took her hands into hers softly.

"your sister would be arrested for attempted murder, and whatever the case may look like to the cops,she was really brutal to you then and now, so instead of my family and I to handle her for what she had done, we insisted on calling the cops instead" he replied

" Oh... Jemma" Erica said and sighed

"Is that okay?" he asked her

"I really don't know what say, she doesn't look like she'd change" Erica replied

"She was never remorseful, instead she kept saying her dad was in the ward too.. I really hate that honey" Mrs Camila said to her and Erica sighed.

"Whatever it'd be, let it be given to her...I don't know her, neither her parents" Erica replied

"I am not denying them, but that's the truth anyways" Erica sighed and Aurelio nods his head.

"Alright then" Mr Bertram replied with a side smile and left the ward with the cop.

Walking out of the ward, he met other cops standing close to Jemma and her Mom.

"Good day Sir, Mr Bertram" the detective said to him immediately he recognized him.

"Detective Sam" he replied

"It's a pleasure to meet you Sir" he replied with a slight bow.

Mr Bertram nodded his head in reply and turned to Jemma. She was already shaking where she stood.

"What is the issue sir?" He asked him

"This lady here, take them with you" Mr Bertram replied, beforehand, he had told them the case.

"Young lady, you are under arrest for attempted murder......" One of the police men said as he walked behind her with a hand cuff

"what! It was a mistake" Jemma replied immediately

"You were in your right senses when you pushed her" Mr Bertram replied

"Not just for today, but your punishment of what you've been doing to her in the past" Mr Bertram added and then she got handcuffed and was pulled by one of the cops

" No, leave my daughter alone!!" Mrs James exclaimed

"I will be coming back for you and your husband, you will surely pay for what you did to Erica" Mr Bertram assured her and then Jemma was carried away by the cops.

" Mom!!" She kept screaming till she left the hospital

Mrs James ran after them screaming her daughter's name.

 Mrs Bertram had gone to call the doctor, he was told by her about Erica's present state. She remembered everyone and so what's next?.

The Doctor had left his office with her to see Erica, he had done some check-up on her and the result that she was okay mentally.

"Would she still experience those symptoms you said like dizziness?" Aurelio asked worriedly

"Yes, but it would last for a short time, she would be on treatments" he replied

"Okay then" Aurelio replied

"Thanks doctor, but would I get discharged today?" Erica asked him

"Honey, we still need to make sure you are okay before you leave" Aurelio said

"Yeah sure, you would be today" he replied her with a smile.

   Meanwhile, Aryan had left since with some of his men, about two of them were hanging around the hospital in their car waiting for Aurelio and his family to leave.

 Just then, they got a phone call from him.

 "Boss" he said immediately

"Are they still in the hospital?" Aryan asked impatiently

"Yes boss" he replied with a thick voice

"Find out the reason he visited the hospital, that could be out start and his weak point" Aryan said with a side grin on his face.
