Valerie decided to eat her breakfast, now that no one is paying attention to her. She brought out the food Madam Helen had prepared for her; she also added warm milk just like Valerie loves it.

Valerie ate slowly. By the time she was done, the person to pick her up had come. He apologized for not coming to pick her up earlier.

"I did not know you were returning today."

Valerie furrowed her brows. "Do I know you?"
