LOGINMira’s POV
His words rang continuously in my ears. My vision remained blurry for the rest of the night. The transportation was so difficult. I totally sprung awake when we arrived at the Stone Creek pack. Surprisingly, Arianna was alive, and she wasn't bound like the rest of us. My heart pounded hard when I saw her whispering words to Alpha Harrison. He was smiling, slicing an apple with a knife and eating as Arianna spoke to him. My stomach growled with disgust and I felt like I'd vomit. “You all are welcome to the Stone Creek pack.” Someone else said, standing before the omegas that had been brought. I knew everyone that was tied, but I barely spoke with them. I was always secluded in the pack because I was too good to be spoken with, and too horrible to be anywhere else. What could Arianna be doing with him? Did she sell the pack out? Did she start this bout of madness? Is she the one that has caused me so much trouble? Or maybe he just wants to make her his Luna? I thought to myself. Arianna had always been the prettier one. She had a slimmer body, but with curves that'd make any man look twice at her and drool. She would wink at men, and they'd be falling at her feet. I always imagined what it must be like to have such beauty. “You will do the dishes in the morning, clean the room you're assigned to and…” the same person kept on instructing us on what to do. The air felt fresh although they seemed to be cold blooded killers, and for a while, it felt like I'd have a good life in this place. “Now rise, you will be led to the place where you would…” he was saying when the Alpha cut him off. “Bring that one here.” He growled, pointing at me. I immediately got weak in my knees, unable to properly process my thoughts. Did he just ask that I should be brought to him? I had no strength, and fear overtook me. “Which one, Alpha?” He asked, looking at every single one of us. “That one with long hair and a battered face.” Alpha Harrison said. We all had battered faces due to the intense struggle and tortures that we usually go through, but out of everyone one of us, he had no trouble singling me out. He pulled me by my hair, and dragged me over to Alpha Harrison who wasn't looking. “Jupiter, you have to be more careful about the way you handle ladies.” He hissed, pushing Jupiter off me. In my books, that had to be the most anyone ever cared about me. “Is she the one?” He asked Arianna, and I bent my head low, whimpering. Fear gripped my heart at the question. Arianna had never been up to any good. “Yes, she is.” Arianna hissed, and I could hear the disgust that came from her voice. “Take her to the torture room, I'll like to have a moment with her.” Alpha Harrison said. The word torture made my head ring loudly. I could barely hear anything after that. Why did it have to be when I was so close to escaping and living my life out in peace? Jupiter picked me up and was about to drag me out. I decided to speak up this time and beg for my life. “Please.” I begged, forcing myself off Jupiter's grip. “I swear I didn't do whatever she said I did.” “I'm very obedient, and I can do whatever chore you want me to do.” My voice broke, and tears rolled down my eyes. I can't go through whatever level of pain it is that he has planned in his head. Alpha Harrison chuckled. I looked up at Arianna’s face, and she eyed me maliciously. I wondered why she had chosen to hate me so much when I had done nothing wrong in particular. Alpha Harrison bent over, finishing off the apple. He passed over the knife to his right hand, and his grip on the knife strengthened. “Why do you think I've commanded that you should be taken to the torture room?” He asked, running his hand through my hair. “Because she must have lied against me.” I said, wiping my tears off. I started shaking and whimpering when he started caressing my face with the blunt side of the knife. He moved his hand so slowly that it became very creepy. “What lie do you think she told?” He said, now slicing the blunt side against my skin. I swallowed down in fear as my chest heaved and my body shook. “That I… I… spilled… spilled… acid in her bath… to… to… hurt her?” I muttered and he chuckled. “You did that?” He cackled, turning to look at Arianna. “She did that?” “Yes, she did.” Arianna said bluntly. “No, I didn't!” I snapped since my life was on the line. “You might have fooled your parents, but you can't fool me.” Alpha Harrison laughed. “I've listened to your heartbeats, and she didn't spill acid in your bath, and if anything, you spilled it in hers, and then accused her.” “Okay, you caught me.” Arianna said, rolling her eyes and folding her arms. “I love that kind of evil.” He cackled again. “What then did she say?” I whimpered as tears welled up in my eyes. “That you are the one thing I detest the most in the world and would give my whole life to destroy.” He growled. “An omega?” I asked, and he cackled, shaking his head. “Worse… a rogue!” He snapped, and my legs shook. “I've barely been a rogue for a day.” I cried. “I can work in your pack, please…” “Whether a day, or a year, or ten years, you are still a rogue!” He snapped, turning the knife to its sharp side. “Please…” I begged as tears rolled down my eyes. Alpha Harrison stood up without cutting me, and then he sighed. “The full moon is in two days.” He chuckled. “You will be mated with by the strong ones in the pack, and when you get pregnant,” He paused, letting my thoughts wander around as I imagined the horrific words that'd proceed from his mouth next. “I will kill you and whatever little evil bastard is inside you.” He said, and my stomach gurgled. My heart dropped to my stomach, and my vision darkened. “Take her to the torture room!” Alpha Harrison commanded. Arianna spitefully walked towards me as Jupiter yanked me up. “One way or another, I will be the end of you.” She whispered in my ears.Mira's POV My heart thumped hard as Alpha Sorren held my hand, keeping me close to himself. Khalid had escorted me close to my room, taking the back door, and he immediately left once I got to the front of the room, only for me to open the door and meet Lady Selina’s minions littered all over the room. I tried to turn back and run since they all already had their eyes on me , but it was too late. One of them caught me by the shoulder, manhandling me, despite my promise to cooperate.Alpha Sorren’s grip on my hand strengthened , and I couldn't get over the fact that he was protecting me that much. No one does anything that sweet for me. It was beyond what I could imagine. “Selina, stop being dramatic!” Alpha Sorren snapped, gently letting go of my hand. I swallowed hard, realizing how good his touch made me feel, after he had taken his hands off me. “Sorren, I've not even started being dramatic.” Lady Selina hissed, walking out of the living room. Everyone watched her leave. Her m
Sorren’s POV “Do we have any idea as to why they're here?” I asked as we headed for the pack house. Mira was way behind us, but I couldn't wait for her. The situation at hand was dire, and I wanted to see it to a quick end. “No. Lady Selina has been talking to them ever since. No one is speaking to anyone.” Khalid said. I could see several wolves that accompanied them from their pack. I was bothered and confused as to their impromptu visit, but I wasn't scared. “Alpha, is there anything you'd like me to do?” Khalid asked as we drew closer to the pack house. “Take Mira through the back door, and make sure that she's safe.” I ordered, and he stopped following me. I walked in through the house, and the Salvatores turned to look at me. “And if it's not the Alpha himself.” Luna Matilda Salvatore called, opening her arms to hug me. I couldn't tell if it was a good thing or not. “Luna Matilda, Alpha Crimson.” I greeted them both, keeping my head up. I shook hands with Alpha Crimson wh
Sorren’s POV“We fought a battle in this house, won, and even fought people that wanted to take the pack away from us, and you're sad? Something is definitely wrong.” Selina said, sitting on my legs. She wrapped her hands around my neck and pulled me close. “Why not tell me what's going on?” Selina asked, massaging my shoulders. “I don't think you want to know.” I simply said. “Try me.” She argued. I couldn't get my mind off Mira. Ever since the previous night, I hadn't stopped thinking about her. I wanted to go back to her room and devour her with everything I had in me. “I just have the feeling that we have more battles ahead of us.” I said, avoiding anything that could lead to an argument about Mira. “Well, you shouldn't worry anymore. You always come out on top.” Selina said, adding a tap to the massage. “I guess.” I chuckled dryly, expertly placing her on the bed. I had my bath and changed into fresh clothes while Selina went to make sure there was food for me to eat. I d
Mira's POV “My guess is… Harrison made it happen somehow so I wouldn't become Alpha.” Alpha Sorren shrugged. There was no more sadness on his face. He was a little bit indifferent, although it broke my heart that he ever liked someone that much. “And unluckily for him, my parents died the next week… dark, right?”“I'm so sorry.” I whispered, standing from the table I had leaned on. “That must have been terrible.” “It was.” Alpha Sorren shrugged. “But you have Lady Selina now, yeah?” I mumbled, unsure why I did that. “Do you still like Luna Nia?”“I don't.” He responded, resting his back on the door. “Sometimes, hate is a stronger emotion than love.”“Why would you have sex with someone you ‘hate'?” I asked, air quoting the word. “Because she appealed to me. I don't think I can explain it to make you understand.” He muttered, and I turned my back, feeling very jealous. “Why are you so mad about it?” He suddenly asked. My eyes widened, and I turned back to refute it, but the words
Sorren’s POV Four Years Ago…I pulled Nia closer to me on the bed. I hated that she was far away from me even if it was by a few inches. I kissed her neck, but she was very unresponsive.“Would you tell me what's wrong, or will you just keep pushing me away?” I asked, raising my head a little. “You've been out of here since last night, and I can't even tell what's going on.”Nia rolled over uncomfortably just so she could look at me. She held my face, but there was still a glint of sadness in them. “You made me come more than 5 times last night.” She giggled, and light returned back to her face. “I really just want to catch my breath.” “Have you breathed well enough now?” I asked with a smirk on my face. She pulled me in for a hug and kissed my ear. “You know I love you more than anything, right?” She asked , and I nodded, pulling her body close to me. The only thing that separated us was the very light night gown she wore that I wanted to tear apart. “I know you do, and I love y
Mira’s POV I ran to my room immediately I walked out of the kitchen. I had anticipated seeing him when everyone else walked in, but I had my hopes dashed, and out of nowhere, he just walked into the kitchen looking like that? The past two weeks were horrible. I had blacked out more times than I had in a whole month. I kept waking up to a splitting headache, and I felt like I was dying. But, according to Raina, my skin was popping, and my features were getting visible. The only thing that kept me going was drawing, and the several thoughts of showing Alpha Sorren. I kept having unusual thoughts about the things that'd happen, and ignoring them was very difficult. Raina knocked on my door several times while I stood against it, still hyperventilating. “Mira, you've gotta let me in.” She hissed, hitting the door like she would knock it down. “Raina…” I moaned, wanting to be left alone. There were several buttons the sight of him had pressed on in my head, and I wanted to explore wh
