Chapter 3

مؤلف: Soda
At dawn, the iron door of the underground hall swung open.

Loud laughter echoed inside.

"Fifty million in cash. That's two million for each of us," Bianca boasted. Her voice carried across the room. "Add our cuts from South Port, and we run our own kingdom. We never have to bow to that widow again."

Elders and senior capos packed the stone tiers. In the center sat the widows, shrouded in black veils. Bianca wore a black jacket riddled with bullet holes, her late husband's gold capo pin gleaming on her collar. She raised a glass to the room, drunk on her own ambition.

My heels clicked against the cold flagstones as I walked down the center aisle.

The laughter died instantly.

A dozen armed guards followed me, locking every iron gate behind us. I stopped before the altar, bowing my head to the long row of names carved in stone.

I stood tall, my face completely still.

"I heard your demands from last night. You think Long Island is a trap to rob you blind. Fine. The family will not force you to stay."

Bianca smirked and leaned back. "Folding already? Good. Sign the papers and hand over the ring, Scarlett."

"Turn on the screens," I said.

The massive monitors on the stone wall flashed to life, displaying live aerial drone feeds of the Long Island estate.

Three armored flatbeds smashed straight through the wrought-iron gates. Over a hundred armed guards in black tactical gear sealed every perimeter. Sweepers kicked open the heavy doors of every private villa. They dragged designer coats, trunk cases, and jewelry boxes out, tossing them like bags of trash into the dirt.

Steamrollers crushed the manicured lawns into gray mud. Work crews rolled out coils of razor wire and mounted Browning heavy machine guns on reinforced sandbags.

"What are you doing?" Bianca lunged out of her seat, the sneer vanishing from her mouth.

"Starting today, Long Island is a heavy weapons transit depot," I said, looking down from the dais. "Order number one. The family revokes every luxury suite, every armored SUV, and every medical account. You are out of the family's protection. Effective immediately."

Screams broke out among the widows.

"My jewelry is in that house!"

"You can't do this! Our men died for those houses!"

"Order number two," I cut through the screams. "The two hundred grand monthly allowance drops to zero. My collection crews are auditing the books. They will collect every dollar your dead husbands owed for lost guns and failed hits."

I gave a short nod. Two soldiers carried a heavy steel lockbox forward, slamming it onto the table in front of Bianca. The latches sprang open, revealing stacks of banded hundred-dollar bills.

"Three grand in cash for each of you," I said to Bianca. "Sign the release. Take the cash and get lost. Bleed out in the gutter for all I care. You no longer belong to Corleone."

"Three grand?" Bianca kicked the metal box, spitting mad. "Scarlett, you lost your mind. Three grand won't pay two months of rent downtown. The council will never let you get away with this."

Three elders started to rise from their chairs. My guards raised their rifles, locking laser sights onto the old men's foreheads.

The elders froze. None of them dared make a sound.

"Finally, discipline."

I snapped my fingers. The rear doors banged open. Guards threw three bound men onto the floor like butchered pigs. The gate sentries who took Bianca's bribes and let the wiretap into my house.

The traitors never got a chance to beg.

Three enforcers stepped from the shadows. Three quick snaps echoed off the stone walls. Neck bones broke clean. The guards dragged the bodies away, leaving dark red smears across the floor.

"A thirty-percent purge across all outer crews," I said, my voice dead flat. "My enforcers will handle the executions."

The entire hall fell into a graveyard silence.

Women sank onto their benches, shivering and covering their mouths. Several younger widows stared at the blood on the stone floor, terrified to take a breath.

Bianca gripped the back of her chair, staring at the screens showing her former sanctuary turned into a fortress.

The screen changed, locking onto mounted machine guns behind the fresh razor wire.

I stared down at Bianca's pale face.

"The eviction list drops tomorrow morning. Step one foot onto family turf after that, and my men shoot to kill."

I looked at the list. Bianca's name sat right at the bottom, exactly as expected. I gave a short nod."Drag her down. Public execution."Dawn broke over the family's central courtyard. A rare crowd packed the open square. Two enforcers dragged Bianca onto the raised platform like a dead dog, pinning her hard against the wooden posts.Dying was too easy. Under family law, living would be her hell.A shrill scream ripped through the air, sharp enough to split stone, before choking off into silence. The blades severed the tendons in both wrists. She would never pull a trigger again. The Chief Enforcer stood before hundreds of crew members, reading the sentence without a trace of emotion."Per intelligence verified on the line, we recovered four million in dirty cash stashed by Bianca. "Open the door! I have proof! Let me in!"Shouting echoed from the hallway as the women shoved and cursed at each other.I sat behind my desk, lit a cigarette, and watched the white smoke drift through the cold light. The door flew open. A figure tumbled inside. It was Gia.Her hair was a rat's nest, and her scraped knees bled through her slacks. She scrambled across the floor until she reached the edge of my desk."Boss! Look at mine first!" Gia reached down her collar, pulled out a flash drive, and slammed it onto the wood. She dropped to her knees on the floor. "Bianca's wiretaps are all in here! She bought the C4 from the South District. She ordered the trucks to smash the gates. I recorded every word! She even hid a four-million-dollar cash ledger under her husband's headstone!"She lunged forward to grab the hem of my slacks. A guard stepped up and shoved a rifle butt directly into her chest.Gia's eyes welled with tears, and she dropped back onto her knees. "Bianca put a gun to

I backhanded Bianca across the face. She flew sideways, crashing into the chairs behind her. Blood split from the corner of her lip.Her revolver slipped from her grip and slid across the stone floor. Before she could push herself up, I stepped forward and pinned her fingers to the floor under my heel, grinding down hard.Bianca let out a shrill scream."Family law?" I looked down at her, my voice flat. "Family law protects soldiers on the line. It does not protect rats who sell our codes to the enemy."The hall fell dead silent. The capos sitting in the back kept their heads down. Nobody dared to breathe.I pressed harder with my heel. Bianca bit her lip until it bled, choking back her cries.I turned my eyes toward Gia, who was frozen on the floor, and the sixteen shaking women behind her."On Corleone turf, rats only get one way out. No exceptions. Having dead husbands buys you zero immunity."That single sentence broke whatever courage they had left."Don't kill me! It wasn't me!"

"Keep your barrels down and tucked in. Nobody moves until I say so."11:50 PM, the main council hall.Bianca pulled the collar of her trench coat tight. Over a dozen women stood behind her. Their coats bulged with hidden handguns and homemade pipe bombs.Just days ago, these widows sobbed in the Long Island shelter. Now, they stared at the double doors, their eyes burning with greed. Several veteran capos sat in the shadows at the back of the hall, smoking cigars and watching in cold silence. Not a single man moved to stop them."Bianca, can we actually trust the South District?" a younger woman whispered, her fingers digging hard into the blade hidden in her sleeve."Their trucks already smashed through the east checkpoint," Bianca hissed, turning her head. "What are you scared of? That woman is on her deathbed. The second she signs the papers tonight, we open fire. Anyone protects her, we take out the elders too. South Port belongs to us, and we split the vault cash down the middle."

"Take me down with her? They can try."I gave a cold laugh and signaled my security chief to hand over the contract. "Hold the release. Three million for her head? That is too cheap.""Understood. Boss, the South District convoys are assembling." The security chief lowered his head. "They think the patrol schedule is real. They plan to storm Blast Door Three at midnight.""Clear the way for them." I leaned back in my chair, my voice flat. "Leak the news. Say I fell gravely ill under the pressure. Tell them I will sign the transfer agreement at the South Port control building at midnight to beg for peace."A sharp spark lit up the security chief's eyes. "Lure them in?""Tell the men to seal the pocket tight."Meanwhile, inside an abandoned slaughterhouse warehouse downtown.Over twenty women huddled together, surrounding their ringleader.Bianca stood with one foot on an inverted crate, flicking a switchblade between her fingers."Word just came in. That woman collapsed." Madness burned

"Liar. You ruined us!"The heavy oak doors had barely closed when the screaming started outside. No luxury suites. No security. Only mountains of debt left behind by their dead husbands. The Sisterhood fell apart in seconds. A younger woman lunged at Bianca, grabbing her hair and slamming her head hard against the stone wall."You promised us fifty million. You swore Scarlett would fold."More hands reached in. Nails clawed at flesh. Silk scarves ripped away. They pinned Bianca down on the cold stones, kicking and punching."Back off, you cowards."Bianca pulled a switchblade from her boot. She slashed the nearest woman's forearm open.Blood hit the wall. The scream echoed down the hall.Bianca scrambled to her feet, waving the bloody blade."Touch me again. Just try it. Fighting each other won't save you. We stick together or we die."The women backed away, clutching open cuts. Fear and pure hatred filled their eyes.I watched the brawl from the second-floor gallery. Then I turned and
