Syria’s POV

“I have a question.”

“Go on. Shoot. I don’t mind answering, as long as it’s not something too crazy,” she said with a chuckle.

I smiled, but it was a faint, nearly anxious one. My fingers toyed with the edge of my sleeve while I looked for the best way to ask.
