Harvey’s POV
I’ve never been so confused in my damn life. I finally find my Mate and after making a colossal dick out myself in the cafeteria she bolted. When I finally managed to track her down to apologize I thought things were going well until I told her who I was. I’m not sure what happened but she had jumped down without missing a beat. What I could see of her face at the time also looked extremely angry and maybe a little sad.Does she have some grudge against me or my pack? I know she has never been exiled by my pack. If she had I would have seen her before.I hadn’t heard from Echo since she ran off earlier. He’s depressed and sulking in the back of my mind. So no help there.I went to my room so I could think. HARVEY’S POVI had barely been waiting and hour when my dad emailed me all the requested files. I began sifting through them immediately. I started with incidents involving rogues. As to me it seemed to be the most likely reason she had a grudge against me. I didn’t remember ever seeing her face before so the possibility she was exiled was unlikely. However I couldn’t find anything pointing her in these files I could look at those exiled. PAUL’S POVThere was only five minutes left when I saw Harvey’s wolf Echo coming from the woods. He gave me a quick nod before going behind a nearby pine tree to shift. Once Harvey had shifted back to human form he came out from behind the tree. No wonder he wanted me to bring wipes to clean himself up. My Alpha looked like shit. His body was covered in dirt and blood. Harvey’s POVAs soon as I saw those assholes hands on Nova Echo immediately took over. Neither of us was happy about anyone touching Nova, especially with harmful intent. HARVEY’S POVOnce we got to the hospital wing I talked to the front desk to specifically request a female doctor. It may seem a bit arbitrary but werewolves, especially Alpha’s are extremely territorial about their Mates. It would make me more comfortable and less likely to kill anyone if I felt the doctor touched her unnecessarily. A few minutes later Dr. Carol Martinson took Nova to a private room and left me and Alpha Clayton in the waiting room so she could examine her. We were the only ones currently in the waiting area. As worried as I was about Nova now was the perfect time to get some answers.I looked at Clayton before asking, “ Do you mind if I ask you some questions about Nova?
