The two friends had barely eaten their meal halfway when they heard two familiar voices. They turned and scanned the entrance of the restaurant. It was Steve and Jim."Hey, we must leave now, if not, we may never find what we are looking for." Juliet said quickly, standing up. Jane did same."Where, then, shall we go?" She asked."See, we shall head for the kitchen right away. The cooks there would be delighted, and must have a foreknowledge of who their employer is. They will evidently be saying good things about him. We shall seize the opportunity and hear all we can. If we are found out, we are done for." The other said."But the way to the kitchen?" Jane asked."I do not know. We shall use our instincts. Be careful not to attract attention. Steve and Jim might be looking for us. The restaurant is crowded. Let us use this opportunity."
