Through thick and thin, he had realized from an early age that change was the only thing to remain the same. Looking upon the scene around him he knew that the world was an evil place. From the simplest thought of envy, to the most murderous intent was in abundance. Never lacking in any sins that were in-between.
The altercation had not last long but what seemed as a few moments was a life time to the unfortunate. The only one who stood before him, came to this understanding. ‘How did it come to this? The difference between us was a clear as night and day. Did numbers not grant us favor?’ Yet upon the infinite amount of thoughts that were racing across his mind did he successfully summon an answer.
“Leave us alone, we did not mean to bother you, everything was in fun and games!” Gasped the remaining person. “Who are you to say in was all fun and games? Not only did you attempt to forcefully take my possession’s, but dare threaten me, saying that I would not leave this place alive. Is living truly a joke to you?” Said X as he looked at the man. His expression was stoic.
The rest of the bystanders who remained were still recovering from shock. Slowly, one by one, they had finished processing what had happened. What started as a simple act of robbery had turned into a bloody mess. Chairs and tables were no longer in their original positions, let alone assembled. The floor glistened as the shattered glass demanded attention. For only two shadows were blocking the lights.
The man glared at X. His expression was only short of murder by actions. Slowly he spoke, taking heed of the previous series of unfortunate events. “We have every right to do as we please, as this is our territory. You do not belong here. This tavern is for Henderson’s and those who serve us. Everyone knows that, that is why you, are the only outsider! Did you not realize that the gaze’s spoke for themselves?” Samuel was known for disliking outsiders.
X replied,”Are you implying that law dose not exist in this establishment?” X sauntered towards Samuel. Samuel did not hesitate to snap back “Yes, for we are the law here!”. It was then, that X’s expression had changed. What was once an expressionless, calm appeal had turned to an ice cold gaze. As he got near Samuel, X’s tone turned deathly “The law exists naturally, however they are those who choose to enforce it and those who bend it. For those who bend it shall be sent to what ever God they believe in”. Samuel knew that would be his last sentence.
X reached over his back to unsheathe a translucent blade. The color of the blade could only be described as an icicle that had seen dawn’s first light. The uniqueness did not came from its translucency but the material that it was forged from. The Transcending Ice Crystal. It was stronger than any metal alloy that ever existed but harder than a diamond. The Transending Ice Crystal could only be manipulated once, after the process was completed it would never change the shape it took.
Within a blink of an eye he thrusted the blade with surgical perscission. It did not miss its mark as it glided through Samuel’s chest till it reached the heart. “I am the law here now” said X. He did not withdraw the blade immediately; instead he waited till the heart stopped beating. Never once did he take his eyes off of Samuel.
As X withdrew the translucent blade, Samuel’s body sank to the ground. The outline became more apparent as blood dripped down the edge of the blade. Hundreds of times the blade had become one with flesh. It was not bias towards it victims because for once it never slayed an innocent person.
For those who were lucky, among Samuel’s men had started regaining consciousness. Moans of agony started to become prevalent. Only a handful showed signs of life, the rest laid expressionless. “No!” Shouted Isreal as he realized Samuel wall had been sent to the after life. His heart was full of anger and contempt. Isreal had been Samuel’s right hand man since he was recruited. He had barely been of age.
No matter what task was given to him, he has always managed to execute it. His eyes transitioned to man with the translucent blade, X.X was no taller than 5 and half feet. His long gray hair was thick but flowing like water, even though it had been attempted to be subdued in a pony tail. Almond shaped grey eyes that were a rich color, but gave warning of a terrible storm was brewing ahead. He was rather fair complected, but had a hue of yellow. Even though X was dressed in a few layers it did nothing to hide his slender but muscular build.
The close he wore were that of those times that had been long passed. A jet black two piece frog button suit that had white accents. The buttons were constructed of blue jade, and maticulouly hand carved. The long robe draped down to the knees, covered in Cranes and Coy. There were one lotus, phenix and dragon that were made to be the focal point of the robe. On his feet were chain mill shoes, that looked to be double or tippled layer.
Isreal could not help to notice that the man before him wore a single pendant with a matching pair of earrings. The material that was used look familiar but he could not keep his thoughts aligned properly, since he had just recovered. Is that Sapphire? The color was unearthly, much deeper than any sapphire he had seen. The color had no rival, among any blue gem.
No! That can not be! Israle's thoughts had finally became fluent as he was able to pull the name of the gem from the depths of his conscious. Is this the Eternal Depth’s Sapphire!? Yes, I remember Lord Henderson speaking on it briefly, but this dose fit the description that was given. One may be able to find it if they were to be able to walk on the deepest part of the oceans floor. They were praised as one of the rarest gems!
“What is your name? Where did you come from? Why do you have the Eternal Depths Sapphire?” Exclaimed Israel! X did not not seemed to care for the topic as he mostly disregarded it. “I am X, Son of Kon, last descendant of the Han clan. I do not have much on me, other than that what you see. I did not know that my possessions
value was worth more than life. I will say this only once. I have slayed your kin, do not tempt me any further for those left will join him.” X said bitterly.Since he was 12 he had been left alone. He did not like talking about the past. Nothing could be changed simply by talking. Many did not get the chance to know him or would they ever get too. No one knew that his father Kon and his mother Lia were both brutally murdered while he was away. Since that day a piece of X had joined them.
X got up slowly, swinging the Transcending Ice Crystal Blade downward, flinging off what little blood had remained. X was disregarding everyone else who was there as he turned around to head for the door. For he knew that no one would dare say anything to him, after witnessing such a scene. He did not look back once ever, for the past could not be changed.
Israel gained the confidence to stand by himself upon X’s departure. “We must not let this be a lesson to us! The one who has slayed Samuel and the others, will not roam this earth freely!” Israel shouted as he clenched his fist. “It has been ages since the Henderson’s had been shamed so freely! There will be a great reward, for anyone who manages to bring back this man named X.” Slowly he put his head down and raised his hand to motion for a moment of silence, in honor of the deceased.
After a few moments, Israel had left establishment to let Samuels father know of the past events. He trembled as he walked towards his mount. How will he say that he was not able to protect Samuel, let alone avenge him? Before mounting the all jet black stallion, he gripped the reins, and silenced his emotions before riding off in to the night.
Night did not cause Sasha to be hindered while galloping at her fastest speed. The landscape transitions as quickly as the time did. Once grassy plains turned into a forest. Tall trees held back most of the morning rays at bay. Only the road they followed was clear path. It was not till the mid-afternoon that the sun broke through dense canopy of leaves. Rays of light embraced them with such warmth that only summer could offer. A gentle breeze flowed against them as Sahsa trotten. Ka-Rin was anxious on how the visit was going to got with Lord Vazquez. After all it had been a generation of time since the Ming’s and Vazquez’s were acquainted. Hopefully, the gesture that was made back then will still hold weight. Outside of her eye color was X’s purple jade ring that could be used to show the jade was the same color. That should suffice as ample proof. X felt her uneasiness as they progressed towards the town, Paso. He also had his own doubts as well but, all he could do was count on
After browsing around Lord Henderson’s vault, Ishmael was still seeking two items. There was indeed many items in the vault! One could find anything from precious gems, daggers, armor and everything in-between. Ishmael was frustrated. If he had only been granted one item of his choosing, the process would have been faster. “What are you looking for in particular, Ishmael?” Jeremy had caught on to Ishmael expression and decided to ask. Ishmael’s laughter suddenly filled the vault. “Jeremy, I do not know. If I had known I would have asked directly.” “I suppose that is part of the problem.” Jeremy wasted no time in his response. Jeremy was in thought, as he glanced at Ishmael. “Come with me.” Jeremy said, as he started navigating the vault. After a few twists and turns they arrived in front of a granite pedestal. “This may be of interest, considering that you are a scout.” Jeramy lifted the item slowly, and carefully passed it to Ishmael. “I do not know the origin of the peculiar item.
Ishmael did not get up until Lord Henderson was out of sight. His personal vault! This was the unexpected. He knew thistle had conquered another lord and expanded his kingdom, and all of the previous lord’s possession became his. This would be exciting as everyone knew that there was an unimaginable amount of rare items in there! He got up quickly and went to seek out Jeramy. “Jeremy, Lord Henderson has offered me two selections out of his personal vault. He requires that you see to it. He has informed me that you have vital knowledge about the contents stored in there. He hinted that this information would be important upon my selection.” Ishmael could not help but to smile proudly as he announced this to Jeremy. Jeremy could not help but to scratch his head before he replied. “Ishmael, there are definitely things that are stored in there that could not be found if attempted in a hundred lifetimes. I will definitely offer my assistance in this task since, Lord Henderson has appointe
Ishmael knew that he was going to have to face Lord Henderson. He dared not go back empty handed. If he did that would be a certain death. He walked back in the direction he came from. Right before the inn, he found Alyisha. There she laid, in the meadow. “For give me for not burying you, but I require your body.” His words were drowned out from the sound of the inn collapsing on itself. Ishmael did not flinch but remained heavy hearted. He did believe in any god, but he always respected the dead. This was going to be his only exception. He gently picked her up and carried her to his mount. He dared not delay, for he was going to be in need of assistance. However riding with a deceased person was cumbersome and time consuming. He didn’t want to dishonor the dead. So he carefully placed Alyisha perpendicular to the mount, making sure not to let her fall. He jumped on the horse and carefully started his journey to Lord Henderson
Ka-Rin had just came back to her senses, as she watched X slay Hezi. “Mother!” She cried out as ran towards he mother. “My Daughter!” Alyisha gasped, as the was still struggling to regain all the air that was slowly forced away from her. “Are you okay mother, please stay with us!” Alyisha bursted into laughter, “My dear daughter it will take more than placing a hammer on me to….” She started coughing before she finished her words. Alyisha still needed more time to recover. Ka-Rin picked her head up and looked at X. There he stood with the translucent blade in his hand. He flicked it downward to free the last of Hezi’s blood off to it and slowly sheathed it. He was able to slay so many men, yet he is unscathed. What is he? That monstrous hammer was roughly two hundred pounds but he managed to split it as if it were a log. He really is a direct descendant of the Han Clan. Ka-Rin was in awe, she bowed her head and spoke to X. “Th
“What is your relationship to X? Where is he? Is he by himself.” Hezi glared at Alyisha. Hezi held her against the wall, hoping to intimidate her. He did not want to slay such a gorgeous lady. He slowly got closer to her and whispered in her ear, “If you choose to say nothing I will burn down this inn, and everyone in it including you.” Alyisha stood before him and started to laugh. “You, who came here with a little over two dozen men thinking that it will be enough? Even if you brought a thousand men, it would only hinder you.” Slap! Hezi could not handle what the woman said before him. Hezi was deeply angered. “I will kill you for insulting me and Lord Henderson! I wanted to keep you alive as a toy for my men but it seems that you longer have that luxury.” He threw Alyisha to the side as he reached for him war hammer. It was monstrous! The hammer itself weighted more than one hundred fifty pounds, it was casted of so
