Chapter Seven

"We had arrived to check on you our daughter in this city which is full of chaos, but it is good that your brother has arrived and he will protect you from this dangerous environment with big machines which roam around the city 24 hours doing harm to whom they term as inferior species of human," their dad notified them and then stood up from his seat ready to leave the premise.

"What so you mean father!" Chester questioned in a dissatisfied manner.

"It's ok son," Mrs. Lindsey intervened, "you have to take care of your sibling sister in this hazardous city or we will loss her to those machines."

"But..."

"Yes dad, it's ok he is here right now. He will do what you have assigned him to do," Chelsea cut him short of words with a smile brightening her face, "or don't you love me anymore like you used to?!"

"Of course he does my little queen," Mrs. Lindsey responded as she hugged him, "your presence in this room have just reminded me of so many years back when you used to be little children, you could always argue at any slight misunderstanding that could emerge, but right now you are all grown up, I don't expect that."

After saying the words, their parents left but Chester had worn a frown on his face because of the task that he had been assigned by his mother. After their parents had left, Chelsea winked an eye at him as a sign that she had won her parents over him, then pressed another button which made the room to turn into it's normal state as a lab.

"Why are you hiding what you are doing from our parents?!" Chester asked her.

"I think it is not a must for them to know."

"You don't have to do anything behind our parents' backs or without their knowledge," Chester advised his sibling sister, "because when something happens to you in this city they will be the ones to blamed or notified before anyone else."

"Sometimes you just have to be mysterious to some people Chester, especially if they won't be supporting what you are doing or if they will be against it."

"Then if they are against it, this means that what you are doing is wicked."

Chelsea stood for a few seconds staring at her brother without uttering a word, her eyes started to glow dimly an indication that she had been enraged by argument that had emerged between her and her brother. She entered her chamber and continued with what she was doing before arrival of her parents. Chester glued his eyes on her in disbelief as he watched her perform some operations on a dead body. Chester watched in disbelief as a dead body rose and stood on it's feet, then eyes shone blue light.

'Operation complete' Chester heard a computerized feminine voice inform the technician.

"Don't you think what you are doing is disastrous!" Chester asked with a sarcastic look on his face.
