Chapter Twenty

He saw the whole mass looked up on Karen, one man stepped out from the crowd and went where Marvin's body had been placed. He inspected it using his digitalized glasses which seemed to scan her as she lay on the bed and went back to her seat without saying any word concerning her health.

"Have you come with that machine to reveal our hideout to that despicable creature!" One of the men yelled angrily while pointing at Chester then he reached for his gun ready to shot at him.

"No my people!" Karen cooled him down, "he is one of us. He is not one of them, you don't have to get alarmed by his presence in our midst."

"You are a lie, have they corrupted you to lie against us," the man persisted angrily, "you can't lie to us, with no dispute. He resembles that wicked woman who came and took over our island making us squaters in our own ancestral land."
