In The Tavern

Shaun The tavern bustled with activity as Shaun looked around, his gaze sweeping over the crowded tables filled with warriors and citizens engaged in lively conversation, while all the hostesses scurried around them. The air was thick with the scent of ale and the murmur of endless chatter. Shaun stood behind the bar counter, his presence unassuming yet observant. Despite the lively atmosphere, time seemed to pass differently within the tavern's walls, as if the outside world held its breath in anticipation of the next moment. For the past four years, Shaun had called this tavern home, finding solace in its familiar routines and the camaraderie of its patrons. He remembered the day he first stumbled in, weary and malnourished, seeking refuge from a world that had turned its back on him. The tavern owner had taken pity on him, offering food and shelter in exchange for his labor. Nobody had questioned the presence of a new wolf in the tavern; as if nobody actually noticed him aside fro

The Omega's Trial

Shaun A loud bang shattered the silence of the cell, jolting Shaun from his fitful sleep. Rays of light pierced through the small window, casting ethereal patterns across the stone floor. With a heavy sigh, Shaun rose from his makeshift bed, his movements slow and deliberate as a guard stood at the cell gate. With a sigh, Shaun set his hand against the cold stone wall as he stood up. His spine popped a few times when he stretched as he prepared to face the day ahead. Stepping towards the guard, he asked, "Is it that time already?" Without a word, the guard opened the gate and Shaun braced himself for the inevitable. The cold touch of iron shackles encircled his wrists, their weight a tangible reminder of his predicament. The guard yanked on the chain to urge him forward. With a resigned acceptance, he followed the guard's lead, his thoughts consumed by the events that had led him to this moment. Shaun couldn't resist; he killed a captain, he'll have to face the consequences. Skye whi

The Alpha's Judgement

Rebekah Rebekah stood in front of the stranger, butterflies forming in her as she stood close to him. Her hand was still resting on his muscular chest as his scent flooded her senses. He smelled strongly of pine and cedar, a faint trace of booze around him. She could feel the eyes of everyone on them, but it was as if they were in another world as she stared up into this man’s blue eyes. Nyx, her wolf, was shaking in excitement as they had found their mate. She whispered, just for him to hear, “What’s your name?” Before he answered, her father’s voice broke the tension in the room. “Unacceptable! You must reject him, Rebekah! Do you really want to be mated to this criminal? You’re meant to be a Luna and he’s an omega!” At her father’s words, a growl escaped both her and the man. She stepped back from him, holding a hand to her mouth. The man looked at her, a questioning glance in his eyes, probably in confusion to her growl. She looked at her father, “That is my mate you’re speaking

Tales of the Tavern

Shaun It had been two hours since he returned to the tavern and Shaun was almost done packing his belongings. Skye was impatient, wanting to be released to run around and also to see their mate. The guards hadn’t given them much time, after taking the shackles off they escorted him away from Rebekah out of the room. Before they reached the main doors, a servant had come up to them and gave Shaun a shirt, stating the Alpha commanded it to hide his markless shoulder. It wasn’t long before he walked into the tavern and everyone fell silent. None of them had expected him to return. The tavern owner questioned him about what happened and laughed about his demands with the Alpha. He thought Shaun was bluffing about the agreement, but then stopped when he realized Shaun was serious. Shaun had stood up and went to his room to start packing. Now he had finished packing his belongings, setting his pack near the door. Alpha Thorne had given him more than enough reason to finish his goal. It wo
