Sliding with the evil
I go to my room after dropping Jessica at the basement entrance.
‘We can’t just go unprepared' my brain speaks as I change my clothes.
‘Let’s tell her I’m ready to serve her' I say aloud
‘that’s suspicious’ my brain replies.

I sit on the bed and change my socks when a knock interrupts me.
“Who is it?” I ask expecting Daisy.
“It’s me” A voice replied and my heart sank
‘What am I going to tell him' I question myself but reply
“Yes Argon. Come on in”
He walks into the room with a smiling face
“Hey Laura” he speaks
“Hey Argon. Thanks for yesterday. I had a great time” I say as he sits on the chair.

My mouth tastes bitter and my head still stings. I open my eyes but my vision clears only after a couple of blinks. The chill breeze along with the sparking rays of the raising sun brought a red and bright shade to my closed eyes.
