Chapter 7: A New Life

They walked from the entry way into the foyer in which they are met by a man. “Welcome home master, misses.” “Thanks Sedrick, this is our long-lost daughter Analina.” “Congratulations sir, I know how long you both have been searching for her. Hi, miss Analina.” “Hi Sedrick.” “We'll be in my office, please page us when dinner is ready.” “Yes, master.” “We'll show you around after dinner, right now we want talk to you about what to expect tomorrow.” Analina nods her head  yes. “Rodrick, Stavros I want the two of you to walk the premier and make sure that it highly guarded.” “Yes John.” They both say.

         The three of them get to the office and sit on one of the brown leather sofas together, John looks toward is daughter and starts speaking. “I want you ready by tomorrow morning at 8 Am, we'll have brunch in town after the meeting with the principal of the local high school. You will be enrolled and take an exam to know where to place you. I'll discuss online schooling with them then.” “Ok.” She says. “Your daily schedule will consist of the time online classes are to start, breaks in between different courses, and after school you will be trained by Stavros. Tomorrow at some point Pablo's son Enzo will arrive, he will also be on your security detail plus Stavros. Stavros is the head of security and trainer. You'll be in good hands with him, we trust him with you not only because he's my best friend and your godfather, but because he is the best, he was trained by my father.”

         All Analina could do through listening to her father is nod. They just got done talking when Sedrick's voice comes over the pager in the office. “Dinner is served, Sir.” “Thank you Sedrick, we'll be right there.” They leave the office and head for the dining room which Analina noticed that Rodrick and Stavros is already seated with two other women seated next to them. They take their seats as John makes the introductions. “Analina this is Stavros’ wife Brenda, and next to Rodrick we have his wife Paula, Maverick is their son.” “It's a pleasure to meet you both.” She said to the women. In return they both say. “Like wise.” The women and Analina eat in silence as the men talk about work. True to their word they show Analina around after dinner.

                                      Analina's P.O.V.

As I was shown the downstairs I notice how the floor plans were the same as Jonathan's house. I was shown the library which was just past the office and to the right a set of stairs heading down, just like Jonathan's. Dad told me as we past the library that I would be doing my school work in there. Downstairs was the gym, and it was also set up like Jonathan's. Going back upstairs and walking towards the foyer is a staircase going up, mom told me that my suite is on the west wing and in the same area as theirs and Jonathan's. The guest rooms were in the east wing and the bedrooms of close friends of the family is in the north wing.

         We ended up in front of a set of double doors, dark brown in color, opening the doors I walked into a living area with a gold sofa with dark wood frame and legs, the carpet was white in color, in front of the sofa was a dark wood coffee table and straight ahead was a 52” T.V. on a dark wood stand. I noticed going through the house that dark wood trim and the furniture were all in dark wood. I then walked into the door on my right side and was in awe to see white carpeting, a bed with two sets of steps going up a platform where the bed sits in   Lavender, black and white. I turned in back of me there was two sets of doors, I walked through the door on the left which was a huge bathroom with a circle tub, a walk-in shower and a pastel sink, the floor was wall to wall ceramic white and black marble.

         Walking out of the bathroom I went through the other door and it was a walk in closet, on the right side hung outfits in lavender, white and black, on the left hung training outfits in black and lavender, hanging on the walls were handbags of every color for every season, walking back out into the room was a vanity against the wall between both sets of doors with hair accessories, products and styling tools, in the drawers in the vanity had make-up. After looking through my room, we went to the sitting room for tea and desert.

         The sitting room was designed in sea-foam green and white. The two sofas were sea-foam green with pink flower petals and framed in dark wood, With an oval coffee table, one sofa was straight ahead as you walk in and the second was to the left, to the right was a set of matching chairs with a matching end table in between the chairs. Stavros joined us, Mom had ginger and cinnamon tea, dad had oolong , Stavros had earl grey, and I had the chamomile and mint, we ate blueberry scones with our tea. After our 9 PM tea time we all retired to our rooms for the night.

Entering my room, I decided that a nice bubble bath sounded good, so I started up the tub and grabbed my night clothes and reentered the bathroom, I grabbed the lavender bubble bath and bath accessories, undressed and got into the tub where I decided to soak up the warmth of the water before washing my hair and body. When I finished I got out and grabbed a towel to wrap around my body and another to dry my hair. Drying my hair as I left the bathroom I heard a male voice say in a husky voice.
