We all stand transfixed in the same spot.

"I think…I think I have been followed,” the stranger who brought the comb whispers, his words cracking from his shaky voice. He is standing in an impossibly still posture, I'm not sure how is even breathing. His face is ashen, drained of all colour and his lower lips tremble slightly.
