Carina's POV

Restlessness gripped me, swirling in the depths of my thoughts like a tempest threatening to consume my sanity. I was truly going insane by the constant questions that bombarded my head.

I had been left in the room, abandoned by unanswered questions about Nathan's intentions and the fact that I was a what, Lycan Apex? How was that even possible? This explains it. It all began to make sense, but it didn't actually make sense.
