I stared out at the swing. The garden was manicured yesterday, it was lemon green under the full light of the sun. It was our usual place to hang out most of the time after school. We never struggled to find another friend. We were enough for each other. I could digest food but secrets… never. I couldn't sit in rest until I spilled my guts out. That was the big reason Rose and Evie hesitated to share their secrets with me. I didn't mind at all. They're my sisters and best friends. But I'm hiding the biggest secret.
