I stared out at the swing. The garden was manicured yesterday, it was lemon green under the full light of the sun. It was our usual place to hang out most of the time after school. We never struggled to find another friend. We were enough for each other. I could digest food but secrets… never. I couldn't sit in rest until I spilled my guts out.
