After dinner, my father and I along with some of his business partners and some of the family, went to the parlor to discuss the preparations for the up-coming wedding. We were still waiting for Javier, who said he was picking up his date. We all knew that meant a stop at a hotel before he would arrive, so we decided to start the meeting instead of waiting for him.
