CHAPTER 12

Giovanni sat in his office already regretting his decision to let Alice train in combat with Luca. His mind was occupied with many things before the incident, and he never thought that it would cloud his mind even further. Giovanni sat wondering who the woman that saved his sister could have been. All the thinking was hurting his head, but he couldn’t help but think.

He was so deep in thought that he didn’t notice Antonio walk into his office.

“What’s up bro?” Antonio asked as he continued to munch on barbeque flavoured chips. Giovanni raised his head as he heard his brother and looked extremely annoyed at him.

“Why are you eating those in here? You do know I hate that smell.” Giovanni said.

“That’s the more reason to eat this.” Antonio said and munched on another chip which he chewed loudly.

“If only you were not my brother.” Giovanni said and simply smiled at his brother.
