Chapter 10
The Christmas holidays were almost over. Maddie made more and more plans to live with Raven. As a result, more and more concerns appeared in his bright blue eyes.
He had told her to stay with Moon, for her school, her education in the magic square. But she only saw the benefits of the castle. No magic, peace, security, no-hassle, normal life for her. And most importantly, be with him.
Wolf had spoken to him about it a number of times. He had said that they had no solution for the Zaeafranen problem for the time being. This made Raven even more concerned.
What if they bothered Maddie again? She was bombarded again, forcing her to reclaim her deeper magic? How could she ever experience what it was like to live without that burden?
It kept haunting Raven's mind. It was best if she stayed in Stationsstreet, continued her life, perhaps without him.
