"I really can't remember who I am. The only thing I can recall is that the brakes failed, and the car crashed into the bridge," aniya bago ako binalingan ng tingin.

Starting with his not-so-thick eyebrows, well-defined brown eyes, a perfectly shaped nose, down to his reddish and perfect lips, sharp jawline, and clear skin. He has symmetrical features. Ang perfect niya, men!

"I'm fine, m-masakit lang ang katawan ko, but I can handle it," tugon niya ngunit parang nahihirapan magsalita.

"And I can't remember if I have a family," dugtong niya dahilan para bigla kong bitawan ang hawak kong bulak.

Pa'no na 'to ngayon? Ano ang gagawin ko?

*WAYNE LOUIE ANDERSON POV

It was obvious that she was shocked by what I said, but I had to say it so she wouldn't make me leave.

I will pretend that I lost my memory so she'll let me stay here. She looks kind, so I'm sure she'll feel sorry for me and allow me to stay.

"Pa'no na 'yan? Ano'ng gagawin ko?" She said it softly, but it seemed problematic. I was just looking at her, but I let out a deep sigh because of the situation.

When I had the accident earlier, I thought it was the end for me, but it wasn’t. I thought no one would help me, but I later found out that someone did save me, and it was a woman. I couldn’t believe it, but I’m still thankful to her because she helped me from drowning and, most especially, from death.

"Nand'yan ba ang wallet mo? I just want to check if may ID ka para malaman ko kung sino ka," she said, and I immediately checked my pocket, but my wallet wasn’t here. I think it’s in my coat that I left in the car. But I’m thankful it’s not here because I don’t want her to know who I am.

I don’t want her to know because I don’t want to ruin what I’m planning.

"No! .." She gasped at what I said, but then she suddenly became curious because of it.

"I-I mean, you don't have to. Maybe my memories will come back. Just let me stay here." I suddenly said it so she wouldn't get suspicious. I don’t want her to think that I’m a bad person, so I’ll do everything I can to make sure she doesn’t suspect me.

"Can I stay here until my memory comes back?" I said it sadly while staring into her eyes.

"Okay, hanggang sa bumalik ang mga ala-ala mo," she replied and let out a small smile. I forced a smile at her, but deep inside, I was freaking happy because my plan worked.

"Um, can I know your name?"

"Erina ..

F*ck! I cursed under my breath because I didn’t think about that.

"I-I don't know, could you think of a name for me?" I asked, and she immediately started thinking of a name for me.

"Uh, Louie? P'wede na ba 'yon?"

"Sure, that's a nice name."

When luck is on my side, she happened to think of a name that matches my second name.

"Thank you, Erina, thank you for saving me and letting me stay here," I sincerely said and smiled at her.

Because of what happened earlier, I know there’s someone behind it. I know someone planned to kill me. So what I thought of doing was to keep my true identity from her, lived as someone else while staying with her, hide and figure out who was behind the accident. My car wasn’t damaged, and I’m sure someone sabotaged it.

I won’t let that slide. They will pay for what they did.

Always and forever!" We promised each other that no matter what happens, we would never leave each other, but I failed her. I left her when she needed me the most."Erina, tumakbo ka na! Save yourself!" I cried helplessly, not knowing what to do. I couldn’t leave my mom. She came to save me, but I wanted to save her too."Erina, don’t look back! Run!" I saw with my own eyes how she died in front of me—how that man shot her in the chest, how she slowly slipped away from life. All because of me. Because of me, she died. And now, here I am again… captured for the third time. Is this the end of my life? *WAYNE LOUIE ANDERSON'S POV It’s like I suddenly froze in my seat. I couldn’t move, no words came out of my mouth, but I could feel the anger building up inside me, making me slam the table hard, creating a loud noise that startled everyone in the coffee shop. I noticed that all eyes were on me, but I didn’t care anymore. "Sir, excuse me. Ano po ang problema? If you have—" “Shut up!” I said seriously without looking at the woman standing beside me, who I assumed was the manager of this shop. I threw a sharp glare at Dad, and he didn’t look away, that’s when I saw in his eyes that he didn’t seem to regret what he did. “I’ll just pay for the shop’s total earnings today, just make everyone leave,” Dad said seriously, without looking at the woman. “Y-Yes, sir.” I was about to clear his name, but it turns out to be true—he’s the one who kidnapped Erina and killed her mother. I’d been searching for the truth, but all the answers were already right in front of me. Now everything

I was talking to my mom on the phone, and I noticed that my hands were trembling. I couldn’t stay still anymore—I needed to talk to him.“Son, just come home and talk to your dad here at the house,” my mom said. I could feel the longing in her voice because of my sudden disappearance. I wasn’t supposed to call her, but I had to because she’s the one currently with Dad, temporarily helping out in my company."Mom, I already told you everything, I can't go home yet. I'm fine, Mom, if that's what you're worried about," I said softly, slightly watching my surroundings because the people who want to kill me might be just around the corner. She sighed. “I know you’re strong, I know you can protect yourself, pero hindi ko pa rin maiwasang mag-alala sa’yo. I'm your mother, and I will die if something bad happens to you," she said, but then I suddenly heard her soft sob."Mom,
