Alaric sat in his office until late again. When his boss returned from lunch, he piled more work up for Alaric to do.
It was early morning hours when he returned home to an empty house. He suddenly frowned and remembered that Valentino was staying at a hotel and not in his home.
Sighing, he quickly got into the shower and out, then phoned him.
“Hello?” Valentino asked, sounding as though he just woke up.
“Did I wake you?” He asked as he sat down on his bed.
“Mn, did you just get home?” Valentino asked him.
“Yes, your visit made things difficult for me,” Alaric said, and pulled on his shorts and shirt.
