Chapter 21

She started to turn back towards Atlas and Elsa when she let out this deadly roar. I swore you could hear it from miles away. "He's waking up. I need to get you back to your pack so you can get ready to find the moonstone before he arrives," she said as she picked up speed and flew back to everyone. When we got closer, she started to speed dive downward and spiraled down, and landed softly on the ground beside Atlas. As soon as she landed, I was back in human form and in control of myself again. I quickly looked down and, to my surprise, I was dressed. "We dragons can shift and are magical creatures, so when we shift back into our human forms their clothes are still there. But Kara. Now isn't the time for an ideal chit-chat. We need to get to the moonstone. The moon has begun its phases." Without saying a word to Atlas, I started running towards the cave in the mountains by the lake. I could hear Atlas and Elsa calling for me to stop but I didn't. I didn't have time to explain to them.
