Chapter 2

Reika's Point of view:

I looked at his red bloody eyes, his stares are making me shiver yet making me feel that I'm always safe whenever he's around. I've been staring at him for one hour? I guess. Hindi naman siya nagpatalo at tinitigan ako pabalik. He's into something, he's making me feel–I don't know.

"Hi?" I finally broke the silence between us.

Hindi siya sumagot at walang pinakitang emosyon. I sighed heavily and decided to leave. I remember that I will go to the bar to relax myself and also, find a man? Tsk, this is my Mom's fault.

I stood up and looked at him. Kahit may ibang nararamdaman ay lumapit ako sa kaniya. He's still staring at me, watching my every step. Nang nasa harapan niya na ako ay ngumiti ako at yumuko.

"Thank you for letting me stay here at your place. I really appreciate it," I said and looked at him while smiling.

He looked at my eyes and my forehead creased when I saw something in his eyes. I shook my head, maybe because he's wearing red contact lenses. Hindi na naman siya sumagot kaya napasimangot ako at tumalikod na. How rude, I'm thanking him but no response. I got out of his room and was about to hop in my car but someone held my hand.

I looked at the mysterious guy with his red eyes. Ngumiti ako at hinintay ang sasabihin niya pero tumitig lang siya sa mukha at mata ko. Seriously, what's up with him? Cat got his tongue?

"A-Ah yes?" I asked and I gasped when he held me on my waist and leaned to kiss my forehead.

Natulala ako sa kaniya habang siya ay walang emosyon pa ring nakatingin sa akin.

"Take care, baby." That's the last thing he said before he disappeared like a bubble.

I blinked twice and looked around. Nasaan na siya? How did he just disappear that fast? I shrugged and hopped in my car, maybe he teleported or something? Wait! Teleported?! Is he a vampire?! I love reading vampire fictions and vampires can teleport wherever they want to. Ngumiwi ako sa naisip, baka hindi ko lang napansin ang pag-alis niya.

I drove my car, it's already evening and wow. I stayed there for about an hour?! I shook my head and tsked. Pumunta na ako sa bar na lagi kong pinupuntahan. I stopped my car in the parking lot and got out of the car. I walked towards the entrance of the bar and the two bouncers just smiled at me and opened the door. Ngumiti ako sa kanila at nagpasalamat.

Nang makapasok ako ay sumalubong sa akin ang waiter na naglalakad habang may hawak na tray na may limang alak. I grabbed a drink and walked towards the dance floor. While I'm walking, I can't help but to look around. All of the people are dancing with the beat, they are wild and a lot of people are also making out. Huminto ang tingin ko sa lalaking nakasandal sa pader habang umiinom ng alak. He's staring at me, watching me walk to the dance floor.

I stared at him and my mouth hung open when I saw his handsome face. I think everything just stopped when he started to walk towards me, holding his glass of wine. Wearing his white polo, with his two buttons upon his chest are open. Kita ang matipuno niyang dibdib. He's wearing a black pants, with a red ring on his finger and a cross necklace. 

I looked up at him when he's already in front of me. Hanggang dibdib niya lang ako at dahil sa malilikot na liwanag ng bar ay nakikita ko ang gwapo niyang mukha. I gasped when he suddenly caressed my cheeks and… smiled?

He leaned to my ears and whispered.

"Tu me verras toujours bébé, je t'aime."

After he whispered that sentence, he held my hand and I felt something cold on my finger. Hindi ko na iyon napansin dahil sa biglang pagsunggab niya sa labi ko. I can't move and I was about to push him but siya na ang bumitaw.

He looked at me and kissed me on my forehead. "I'm sorry for kissing you without your permission," he seriously whispered and after that, he disappeared again.

Napahawak ako sa noo at labi ko. Tumingin ako sa paligid pero napasimangot nang hindi na siya makita. Seriously, is he still a human? He can teleport or whatever you call that. Maybe he's a vampire? 

Oh come on Reika! Vampires don't exist, they just exist in books. On their own world.

"Oh god Reika!"

Napatingin ako sa likod ko at nakita sila Malia, Tala and Narkissa. I smiled when they hugged me tight but my smile turned into a pout when they smacked my head.

"Tsk, what was that for?!" I shouted but they just glared at me and pulled me to the couch and sat.

"Kanina ka pa namin hinahanap!" Malia shouted and I pouted.

"I'm still nagtatampo," I said and looked away.

I heard them laughed kaya mas lalo akong napanguso. They are laughing at me, but they are the ones who ate all of my cupcakes!

Tala patted my head. "Silly, may dala kaming cupcakes para sa'yo lang," Tala said and chuckled.

I think my eyes just shined when she said that. Hinila na ako ni Narkissa papunta sa couch na nasa gilid at umupo. I looked at the box she's holding and when she opened it in front of me, I giggled.

"You really know me," I said and they laughed.

"You're Reika Bellatrix Zurie Damon, who's a spoiled woman and loves vampire fictions and also loves chocolate cupcakes," pang-aasar ni Malia kaya ngumiti ako.

Kumuha ako ng isang cupcake at kumagat. Masaya na akong kumakain when someone just stand in front of me while offering his hand. I looked up and saw a handsome guy who's smiling down at me.

"May I have a dance with you?" he asked.

I looked at Tala, Malia and Narkissa. They smiled and nodded their heads, so I stood up and smiled at the guy before giving my hands to him.

"Sure."

Dahan-dahan niya akong hinila papunta sa dance floor. The music became sexy and romantic, he held my waist so nilagay ko ang kamay ko sa batok niya. He's staring at me so I smiled so I won't feel awkward.

"You're so beautiful, may I know your name?" he asked so I chuckled.

"My name is Reik–"

"What the?!"

Napatili ako nang may humawak sa baywang ko. I closed my eyes when someone just hugged me and I couldn't hear the noise of the music. I opened my eyes and my eyes widened when I saw him in front of me again, holding my waist and leaning me to him. His cold red eyes staring at me made me shiver.

"Why–"

I was caught off, hinapit niya ako sa baywang para mas mapalapit sa kaniya. I can feel his hot breath on my neck and I gasp when I feel something sharp on it.

"O-Ouch!" napasigaw ako sa sakit dahil may bumaon na matulis sa leeg ko.

Naramdaman ko rin ang pagdila niya sa leeg ko pero hindi na ako nakaramdam ng kiliti dahil pumipikit na ang mata ko at natumba na lang. I felt his hands on mine, carrying me. Whoever you are, Mister, I hope you won't do something bad on me.

Naramdaman ko nang mawawalan ako ng malay but before I fall into a deep slumber, I heard him whisper.

"I love you, baby."
