My eyes fluttered open as I heard the birds chirping. I sat up, yawning while stretching my limbs. I slid my feet off from my bed then do my morning routine. Opening my wardrobe, I took the clothes that I first laid my eyes on. A pair of skinny jeans and a white hoodie. Wearing my white sneakers, I grab my bag from the couch and sling it to my shoulder. After I'm done, I head downstairs to the kitchen. Dad is facing the stove making breakfast. I plopped down the stool. "Morning dad," 

"Morning sweetie." He replied without glancing at me as he flips the pancakes he's making. "I thought you're already head to the diner." 

"I decided to take a day off."

"And who will watch the diner?"
