~Mark's P.O.V.~Lilly has been gone almost all day and I'm so bored. I've helped Marie with lunch and clean up, went and visited my family's grave, helped the cleaning staff and now I have nothing to do. I hope she comes back soon. I sound so pathetic right now. "Hello little runt." I look to the end of the bed where Alpha Gregory is. He has Lilly in his arms, still sound asleep. "Such s pretty little bitch." He says stroking her hair. I try to reach for her but I can't move. Why can't I move? I look down at my hands and find the chained to the ground. The silver bites into my wrists everytime I pull against them. "I think I'll keep her." He says with a smile. "No!" I pull and pull at the chains but they don't budge. He runs his hands down her chest caressing her breasts."Don't touch her!" I growl. Waking up in the middle of the night, I feel for Lilly but the bed is cold and empty. Sitting up startled because she's not there, I try to use the bond to feel for her. In and out of consciousness I hear Lilly trying to mindlink me but as much I try, I can't answer her back. Everytime I open my eyes, I see a different part of the forest. Where am I going? Who is carrying me? I close my eyes again, passing out from the pain. The next time I open my eyes I'm sat across from Lilly. I see red. Seeing his face only makes me think of him kissing me mate and I lose it. I walk towards him as he backs up with his hands up in front of him. "You touched my mate. You touched my mate without her consent." I grab him by the back of the neck and with my silver wrapped hand, punch him repeatedly until gentle hands touch my shoulder. "Shh it's okay baby. You can stop now." Her touch instantly soothing me. I look at the bloodied face body in my grip still. You can barely recognize him now, I drop him and his body falls with a hard thud. Looking for Gregory, I see Steven standing next to him, his hands and feet bound in silver chains. Steven sees me looking at Gregory with worry and he knew I was worried he would escape. When I wake up, I hear a commotion downstairs. I look over and see Lilly still sleeping. I gently get out of bed and grab some shorts and a shirt and hurry downstairs. I see a group of people in the entrance, some of them I recognize but they don't recognize me. Thinking I am the Alpha, they all bow to me. I quickly scan the crowd when I see her. She looks the same just grown up. "Ayliah." A skinny pale woman stares back at me and nods. "Do I know you?" "It's me. It's Mark. Do you remember me?""Mark? My brother's name was Mark. He's been dead for 5 years." I get closer to her hoping my scent would refresh her memory and it does. Her eyes instantly tear up and she throws her arms around me. I pick her up and swing her around. "Oh my goddess, Mark! I thought you were dead. Alpha Gregory said you were. You never came back for me." She says, tears streaming down her face. "I thought he had killed you. I heard you scream and then it was cut off. Im so sorry. I should have come back.
