Chapter 17

I see red. Seeing his face only makes me think of him kissing me mate and I lose it. I walk towards him as he backs up with his hands up in front of him.

"You touched my mate. You touched my mate without her consent."

I grab him by the back of the neck and with my silver wrapped hand, punch him repeatedly until gentle hands touch my shoulder.

"Shh it's okay baby. You can stop now." Her touch instantly soothing me. I look at the bloodied face body in my grip still. You can barely recognize him now, I drop him and his body falls with a hard thud. Looking for Gregory, I see Steven standing next to him, his hands and feet bound in silver chains.

Steven sees me looking at Gregory with worry and he knew I was worried he would escape.

"Don't worry Mark. He's not going any where. The chains are laced in wolfsbane. I've got this."

I nod to him, not knowing for a long time but still knowing I can trust this man with my life.
