CHAPTER 8

My phone beeps, indicating that there's a new notification. And when I looked at it, it was a message from mom.

:You two will be visiting a real estate agent who is a great friend of your fiancé after your visit to the wedding organizer. You certainly need a place to stay after marriage.

And that's it, one more reason to ruin this day for me.

When I peeked on the window near the driver’s seat, I saw Sebastian walking towards his car.

“Oh, he’s here. We need to go. I’ll talk to you later, ‘kay? Thank you once more for the treat and the chit chat,” I said.

“Thank you for your time, too. It was fun talking with you. Bye.”

“Bye,” I then hung up the call and waited for Sebastian to get inside.

I then plastered my obviously sarcastic smile. This man doesn't deserve to see my sweet and genuine smile. He had me waiting for him for more than half an hour.
