Ambrosia was scared. What was she going to tell the king, now? She had always confided in the king, that she was a scholar, and could read and write, to get closer, but she didn’t know that she was going to prove it now. She gulped, as she tried to think of something to say to distract him, from taking her to the table. Then, her secret would be exposed, and he might punish her for lying to him. just because he is only nice when he is with her doesn’t mean, that he wasn’t capable of treating like the scum bag, she originally was.
