The first thing Becca became aware of was pain.

Not sharp like something dull and pulsing, sitting heavy behind her eyes, spreading down her spine.

Her head throbbed viciously, each heartbeat a reminder that she had been struck and dragged like cargo.

Loud raised voices reached her through the fog.

“You overstepped,” one voice said. He had a c and dangerous tone.

Another voice answered, calm but edged with defiance.

“I did what was necessary.”

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    An Uncomfortable Breakfast

Becca sat quietly on the edge of the bed, staring down at her hands. She had been sitting there for several minutes without saying a word. Her mind was still replaying the scene from earlier that morning. She wasn't sure whether she had been right not to listen, but at that moment, she hadn't trusted herself to hear anything he had to say without becoming even more upset. She was still angry, she was hurt and she was jealous. She hated admitting that last part, even to herself, but she couldn't deny it.The thought of another woman spending the night in Eugene's room had unsettled her in a way she hadn't expected.Especially Kaelyn.Becca slowly exhaled. She wasn't ready to face Eugene again. Not yet."You're thinking too much” Mira's voice pulled her out of her thoughts.Becca looked up to see Mira standing nearby, watching her carefully."I'm fine” she said.Mira raised an eyebrow."You've said that three times already” she said."Because I am” Becca insisted.Mira walked closer."B

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    The Poisoned Soup

Greta moved quietly through the mansion corridors, keeping her head lowered as she made her way toward the kitchen. She wasn't in a hurry.Hurrying would only make her look suspicious.Instead, she forced herself to maintain the calm, ordinary pace of a maid who had somewhere to be and nothing to hide. But beneath the calm expression on her face, her mind was racing. She had only one goal that morning.Every few steps, Greta glanced over her shoulder. She needed to be certain that nobody was following her.The mansion was unusually busy that morning. Maids moved through the corridors carrying folded clothes, trays, and fresh linens. Guards stood at different points along the hallways, while servants hurried about their morning duties. There were too many eyes, too many opportunities for someone to notice her and Greta couldn't afford a mistake. She reached the corner leading toward the kitchen and slowed down. She looked behind her one last time and the corridor was empty.Good.Greta

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Kaelyn’s Tempting Words

The morning sun hung gently over the mansion grounds, casting a warm golden glow across the garden.Tyler had been working for most of the morning. He had spent the last few hours tending to the flowers, trimming some of the overgrown branches, pulling out weeds, and making sure everything looked as beautiful as it possibly could. It was one of the few things that gave him peace, away from the tension inside the mansion.Eventually, Tyler decided to take a short break. He leaned against the wooden handle of the gardening tool in his hand and lifted his gaze toward the flower beds. The flowers swayed gently beneath the soft breeze.Pink petals danced beside white ones, while the taller flowers bent slightly with every passing gust before returning to their original positions.Tyler watched them quietly and for a moment, everything seemed peaceful. He wished his life could feel that simple. Instead, his thoughts inevitably returned to Becca. He remembered the conversation they had share

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Burning Jealousy

Max kept his eyes Jack, his penetrating gaze fixed on the one man that had been the bane of his flesh for as long as he could remember. For several seconds, neither one of them said a word and who could blame them. The entire situation was not the most common, especially considering the fact that the woman both of them loved had spent the night in the one of their rooms while the other had been stuck, made to listen to her moans all night. It would’ve been absolute torture. The silence between them was suffocating. Jack stood near the center of his room, his expression hardening as he looked at Max, who had finally stepped out of the wardrobe after hiding there throughout the night.Max didn't bother explaining himself, he didn't apologize, he didn't even attempt to justify why he had been hiding inside Jack's wardrobe in the first place. What was there to say?He had heard enough, far more than he ever wanted to hear.Every sound from the previous night had burned itself into his mem

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    A Friend’s Anger

Mira hurried through the corridors of the mansion, barely paying attention to the maids and guards she passed along the way.The moment she had remembered Becca was supposed to be moving back into Alpha King Eugene’s room, guilt had settled heavily in her chest. She had promised herself she would be there. She should have been there to help Becca with her belongings, to make sure she didn't overexert herself after everything she had been through. But she had been distracted by Jack and by everything surrounding him.Mira quickened her steps as she approached Eugene's room. When she finally reached the familiar doors, she saw that they were already open. She stopped for a moment.Alpha King Eugene stood near the center of the room, fully dressed in his usual royal attire. His hair was neatly arranged, his expression serious, and several documents were tucked beneath one arm.He looked like he was preparing to leave for his study but something about the room immediately felt wrong.Mira

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Easy Lies

Kaelyn walked through the hallway with a satisfied smile on her face. She could still remember the look on Becca's face when she had opened the door that morning. The shock, the confusion, the jealousy that Becca had tried so desperately to hide. Kaelyn had seen all of it and even better, Eugene had seen it too.For the first time in a long while, Kaelyn felt as though things were finally moving in the direction she wanted.Becca might pretend that she didn't care, but Kaelyn had seen her eyes. She had seen the way Becca looked at her and Kaelyn knew jealousy could be turned into something much more powerful. She was still thinking about it when she approached the door to her room then she heard voices.Kaelyn slowed down. She stopped just outside the door."We need to move faster” Seraphina's voice was low, but Kaelyn could still hear her clearly."Move faster with what?" Ava asked."Everything. We can't keep waiting."Kaelyn's smile slowly disappeared. She leaned slightly closer to
