Chapter 2: Child in the elevator

Clack…clack…clack….

Amanda ran out of the bedroom in a panic, looking at the door that was still closed. She gently opened it, it was dark inside with no light. Amanda with the switch next to the door on

Clack clack…

She turned on all the switch there, the flickering light from the ball of light in the center of the ceiling spinning, casting the colors of the floor onto the dark brown floor and walls. She looked around the room, but one of them didn't see anything strange.

Something big crashed into her and she jumped off the floor, a big black rat the size of a forearm just coming out of the room, coming towards her. A girl from a young age was afraid of animals like rats and snakes like her, so she was shocked as if her heart could fly out of her chest.

Luckily it wasn't something else, it was just a mouse, Amanda lamented inwardly. She closed the door to her room and went to the mirror to see how she was wearing this wedding dress.

Looking at Amanda in the mirror, she was very beautiful, she removed the long hair that was tied up on the top of the racquet to the side, looking even more beautiful. But why was this face a bit strange, it was paler than her usual rosy face. Amanda's whole body was naturally tightened, her chest and waist were suffocated until she couldn't breathe.

In the mirror was not her own face, but it was the girl she saw when she first walked in here. Amanda fell to the ground fainting.

Opening her eyes, looking through the window, it was already dark, and Amanda sat up on this pure white bed. Looking around, I saw that I was still wearing a suit when I arrived, the suitcase of clothes was still lying there unopened. Maybe I'm too tired to love the moon, Amanda thought to herself.

With a heavy head, she slid off the bed, the first thing she thought of was opening the other door to see what was inside. Stepping slowly, gently to the side, Amanda flung the door open to the side, where there was nothing, just a bunch of hangers that were being carried when she opened the door too hard.

Amanda spilled water into the living room, poured a glass of cold water from the pitcher, and drank it all down in one gulp. Her mind was a little more clear, no longer buzzing like before.

The feeling of hunger in my stomach because I haven't eaten anything in the evening. Picking up the phone, Amanda ordered a set of chicken rice and a glass of orange juice, the expected delivery time is 30 minutes.

She continued to pack up, hang up her clothes, bring a brush, comb, and toothpaste into the bathroom. You should also take a shower to relieve all the fatigue of the day. Just after taking a shower, the phone to receive clothes in the lobby on the 1st floor also rang.

"Come down and pick up your stuff!" The delivery guy's voice on the phone made Amanda feel even more hungry.

The apartment is quite luxurious, when paving the entire wall with black Vera sa stone. While it looked luxurious, Amanda had a cold, dreary feel, unlike the pale blue walls her father painted in the house in London.

Receiving the package from the shipper, Amanda entered the elevator to go up, walking quickly because her stomach was growling. Amanda faintly heard the sound of a baby crying in the stairs on the 12th floor. Fearing that the baby would be lost, the mother would be very dangerous, so Amanda rushed to open the iron door.

Clack…

The sound of this automatic folding iron door made the hair on the back of her neck, Amanda took one more step and then she exited. The stairs going down was a little girl about 6-7 years old sitting with her back to me.

"Why are you sitting here crying?" Amanda lightly touched her shoulder.

The girl stopped crying and turned her head. But instead of turning her head normally, her head turned backwards, her neck twisted like a rope, her face clear, her eyes bloodshot, her mouth gaping in a savage grin.

Amanda was too scared to drop the food and ran out of it. As soon as she reached the door, pressed her ear to the magnetic lock button, the door opened quickly, she ran into the room panting. But the feeling of coldness, shock and fear has not subsided. Amand peered out of the hole in the door, but saw no one.

Amanda ran into the chair and sat down, gasping for breath, so what, there's a real ghost in here. Obviously just seen. Is it the same dream as before? Amanda picked up the phone and called Vera, who had escorted her to her room that afternoon.

"Miss Vera! I'm sorry to bother you at night, but I see what's wrong with this house, this apartment complex." Amanda was clutching the phone tightly, her mouth stuttering a bit.

"There's no way you, everyone here was fine before. Just calm down, I'll check again tomorrow morning." Vera calms Amanda down.

"I just saw a child on the stairs, his face is white, his eyes are bleeding. I'm so scared, sister!" Amanda was still shaking.

"I think you've just been tired , going out to the north for the first time, so it's a bit unfamiliar. Rest assured, rest early, I'll come over tomorrow morning."

As soon as she finished speaking, Vera turned off the phone, perhaps Vera was afraid that Amanda would keep saying that she would not be able to rest in the evening, and would have to run there again in such cold weather and such a long distance.

Amanda huddled in her room, both scared and hungry, she didn't even dare to go back to bed and close her eyes to sleep. Probably the last person she knew here was only one. Amanda picked up the phone and dialed the director's number just now.

"Hello! Amanda? Is something wrong?" The other end of the line is very interested.

"I'm sorry to bother you this evening, but I've just had a very scary experience here." Amanda was no longer shaking like before, but her voice was still a little timid and scared.
