LOGINAuthor's POV
Breakfast was served, Thalia couldn't take her eyes off Xandros, Xandro's father noticed that his son was looking a bit pale.
“Did you sleep at night Xandros?”
“Father, why would he sleep, when he has a sex craving lady as a mate?” Xyla's words for everyone amused at the table aside Xandros and Thalia. She felt very disrespected.
“I don't have an appetite. Thalia, let's go to school.” He picked up his keys from the table and stormed out of the house.
“That means more food for me.” She chuckled as she picked up her brother's plate and placed it beside her.
“You eat a lot of Xyla but you're not fat.” Tyler chuckles softly staring at Xyla intently, he wasn't scared of what her reaction would be.
“Now you're insulting my body.” She retorted with her mouth filled with food.
“Well I'm not, I'm only being honest, even your dad can attest to that.”
“Dad, are you listening to what he's saying about me? I hate the fact that Tyler never stops talking about how I eat. I want to be satisfied before leaving, I don't think I'll be going to the canteen when it's time to eat at school.” Xyla sighs softly, staring at her father, waiting for his response.
“Tyler is right on the fact that you consume more food than anyone in the house.”
“What about the servants? They consume more food than me, I only took his own because he's off to school.”
“Yeah but you have snacks piled up in your room like you're about to start selling them.”
“Come on Dad, that's my privacy.” Xyla grunted as she dived into her brother's plate while Tyler watched her.
He was done with his meal, as soon as Xyla finished he held her hand and led her out of the house to his car that had been driven to the center of the courtyard by one of the manservants.
He gave him Tyler the key, he opened the door for Xyla to get in. She kissed his lips before going in, Tyler drove her to school.
As always Xandros has all the attention he wants with that lowlife b*tch Thalia, they can't make me accept that bond. It's never going to happen. They can keep fucking their selves but the bond won't stand until I approve of it. I love the power I have… Xyla's thoughts as she shot a dead glare at her brother who had his hands wrapped around Thalia.
“I know you hate your brother but you and I know that you're hurting him by not accepting that bond. Do it for him, not for Thalia.”
“Xandros can claim any lady as his mate and bring her to me, I'll accept the bond but Thalia, it's never going to happen. Don't bring this up again Tyler I'm warning you.” Xyla hissed as she entered the lecture hall, it was already buzzing with students from different packs.
“Most people have their mates now, so this is going to be a perfect semester filled with so much love and pups.” Xyla chuckled as she took her seat, she was shocked when a lady approached her.
“I'm Cathy, I'm from the east side. Rising Sun Pack.”
“Alright, why are you introducing yourself to me?” Xyla retorted as Tyler chuckled softly.
“She didn't mean her words, don't be offended.” Tyler chirped in, wondering why Xyla was being mean to everyone at school since Callie died.
“I am not offended, I just figured we could be friends.” Cathy wished she didn't walk up to Xyla, hating her for making her feel inferior.
“What if I don't want that?” Xyla asked, Tyler brushed her shoulders so she could see it as a normal gesture for someone to walk up to her asking for friendship.
“You simply put it out of your lips and I'll be on my way.”
“Alright Cathy, I don't want to sound rude but we…” Everyone was surprised to see a lecturer walking into the class holding a huge book in his hand.
“This is a new semester everyone and I'm certain that we're all ready…” He stopped when he saw Xandros walking in, holding Thalia's hand.
“I hope your grades don't go down, miss Thalia…” He chuckled and turned his attention to the class.
“Cathy, how about you sit here?” Xyla heaves a deep sigh, hoping she would agree to it.
“Alright.” Cathy sat in Thalia's seat, it was just one left.
Xandros took her to the back of the class where they could barely hear what the lecturer was saying.
“I’ll be pairing you all for this semester. Whatever assignment is given you both would carry it out as a team. Is that understood?” He announced, listening to the murmuring sounds of the students.
“Listen attentively…”
“I hope I get paired with you Tyler.”
Chapter 4 - Wet Squabble Calliope's POV Hell no! This whore is definitely dying today, I'm not going to listen to anyone trying to prevent me from ripping her to shreds."The only way you're not going to get hospitalized in the next minute is if you're drunk as a fool”.I said to Thalia but she didn't seem to be frightened by my statement, instead she was having a good laugh about what she did to me."Sorry but I just smelt something really stinky so I thought I could just give you a nice bath. Callie you really need a good bath cause you reek to be honest, I'm i right guys? Hahaha! I hope you feel refreshed?”.Xandro and Xyla didn't respond but were trying to observe the situation before acting as they both stared at themselves in confusion.“I don't know what the hell you're doing here, showing up looking all dressed up and seductive but my mate belongs to me, so take your charm elsewhere".I became angry as this words hit me, so i rebuked her.“How dare you, You incorrigible fool
Xandro’s POVI came back from my impromptu errand to the house then headed straight to Xyla's room but i didn't find this problem child there so i thought to myself in confusion.“She just barely escaped being grounded now she's nowhere to be found, I just hope she isn't somewhere fighting with Thalia?”I hurried myself to the courtyard, because that's the only place I knew she might be if not in her room playing dress-up.Behold, there she was having some tea in somewhat a sober mood, I initially wanted to give her a piece of my mind but I had to read the room and just genuinely made inquiries on what was going on but she was not answering me, so I dropped her antidote on the table in front of her. Maybe that's the reason why she couldn't talk to me, the symptoms must have begun to surface. “Heyyy twin, i went to your room but you weren't there so i figured you'll be here appreciating the scenery and nature around you, prolly just relaxing and maybe thinking about the wrong decisi
Author's POV Xyla has been the one person that Tyler will always be there for no matter what odds lies ahead. Tyler took his mate to see his grandparents, surely there was no element of surprise coming from Xyla, she wore a face of disappointment as she didn't derive any joy from seeing two old haggard wolves. His grandpa seemed like an artisan but from the iron works scattered round the house, he definitely must be one of those prominent black-smiths to exist around the world war era, Tyler's grandpa sat across a wooden bed with a woman lying on it who happens to be his wife, so Tyler took his mate to see his grandparents. I could tell Xyla was displeased to the point where she didn't mind asking in their presence what she was doing there. “Tyler, I hope I'm not thinking what you're thinking? why the hell did you bring me here to see these people?" Grandpa stood watching xyla and his wife subsequently in silence, the grandma to Tyler seemed very ill and was on her dying bed str
Xyla’s POV Xandro was acting surprisingly nice to me, I felt a bit relieved that he was handling the issue lightly.“Welcome back sister from your well planned out but almost suicidal vacation, would you like me to bake you a pie or heat up your bathing water?” He asked hysterically, i always knew he had a whimsical nature in matters like this but i ignored him to face the other present members of my familyXandro heaved a sigh of relief mixed with nonchalance as he took my bag to the house, Thalia kept staring at me. I knew the fool had something to say to me but didn't want to seem chaotic until maybe when it was just me and her alone.“Daddy!, so glad to see you, you look so worried, I know it's my fault, I'm sorry!” I cajoled my Dad.“When are you going to act like a grown up, Xyla?” He revolted, “Do you know how many times I lost sleep thinking about where you were? if you got abducted? killed by a bear or shot by one of the pack’s enemies? or are you now choosing your new found
Calliope's POV ONE WEEK LATER The morning chills engulfed Xyla, she couldn't sleep throughout the night because she was worried about being so far away from her family in an old cabin at the top of the mountain. I woke up to see her sitting on the stairs leading to the door of the house. She was staring at the sun. “What's wrong? You up Xyla.”“Yeah I am, I haven't seen my boyfriend in how many days and you think this is alright. Besides, there's nothing more we do here other than eat, drink, and train.”“Yeah because I'm getting you trained for the school, you're my partner don't you understand that?” I wondered why she woke up with these thoughts in your head. Come on we're in one team, what do you expect me to do? Let you allow Thaila and her people to defeat me. It's impossible, I have to win at every step of the way, she's going to enjoy the taste of defeat until I'm done with her. “What if I don't want to train anymore? Come on, I haven't seen my father. What if they've de
Xandros POV Two weeks later. Calliope has been absent from school along with my sister Xyla, I don't know the reason why she would skip school and not come home. My father isn't worried because I've been covering up for her, convincing him that she would return to the house after her girl's camping event. “What are you thinking about Xandros?”“I'm worried over my sister's whereabouts, you and I know if my father finds out that she's missing. It could lead to war against both packs and we can't have that because it's going to put a hold on everything we got going on.” I explained to her, she acted casually about it, placing her hands on my chest as she embraced him. “Yeah you're right about that, you should not be worried about your sister's whereabouts. At the right time she's going to resurface.” Thaila chuckled, this isn't her sister that's why she's not bothered about it. I wished she would have the courtesy of sympathizing with me but she didn't. “You're not even sad over h
