The next day, in front of the registry office, Elena stood tall with her head held high. Her hands clutched tightly around her small bag, while beside her, Damian stood arrogantly.

An officer arrived carrying two divorce certificates, handing them over one by one.

“This is the divorce certificate, sir, madam. You are now officially divorced,” the officer said formally.

Elena accepted the document with a faint smile. Meanwhile, Damian only let out a long sigh, slipping the divorce certificate into his coat without looking at it again.

“You think you can survive without me?” Damian spoke in a mocking tone.

Elena turned her head, raising one eyebrow. “Of course.”

Damian chuckled, folding his arms across his chest. “Don’t be ridiculous, Elena. Without my money, you won’t survive. You shouldn’t have refused the compensation I offered.”

Elena gave a sarcastic smile. “Oh, so now you’re worried?”

Damian slowly shook his head, as if in pity. “I’m just thinking realistically. You have no one, no proper job. Do you really think the world will side with you?”

Elena let out a small laugh, then looked at the man with a gaze full of confidence. “I don’t need the world to be on my side. I just need the certainty that I can stand on my own without your money, Mr. Damian!”

Damian narrowed his eyes. “Interesting. I want to see how long you can survive without my compensation.”

Elena crossed her arms over her chest. She gave no response to her ex-husband’s words.

The man chuckled again, this time more condescendingly. “And you think any man will want to be with you after this?”

Elena stifled a laugh. “And why should I care about that?”

Damian stepped closer, his voice lower but sharp. “You’re no longer attractive, Elena. You can’t take care of yourself. You’ve gained weight, you’re not as beautiful as you used to be, and most importantly, you can’t give me a son.”

Elena kept smiling, her gaze growing colder. “You’re so funny, Mr. Damian! You speak as if I still want to get your attention.”

Damian’s face hardened.

Elena continued, her voice calm but deadly, “Listen, Mr. Damian. I don’t care what you think of me. I don’t need validation from a man who betrayed his marriage just because he was obsessed with having a son. You think I will cry and beg you? You’re very wrong, sir. In fact, I’m truly grateful.”

“Grateful?” Damian repeated with a mocking tone. “You’re grateful for losing everything?”

Elena laughed softly yet confidently. “I’m grateful because I’m finally free from a man who never appreciated his wife. You think I’ll be crushed? Oh no, Mr. Damian, I’m actually very happy to be free of you. All this time, you’ve been pressuring me with so many demands. I had to stay beautiful, I had to take care of myself perfectly. And you didn’t even hire a babysitter to help me with the children? You touched me just to get me pregnant again quickly, hoping for a son. When you found out the baby I was carrying was a girl, you threw me away.”

The man glared at her sharply. He didn’t care about Elena’s words.

“Enough, Elena. There’s no need to talk about this anymore! I just can’t wait to see you fail,” he muttered coldly.

Elena shrugged. “And I can’t wait to see you regret underestimating me!”

Without waiting any longer, Elena turned and walked away with steady steps.

Once outside the registry office, Elena walked calmly toward a taxi. In her heart, she had already made a big decision. It was time to return to her former self—not as Damian Lancaster’s wife, living only in the shadow of that bastard.

Quickly, she reached for her phone and dialed a contact she hadn’t called in a long time. It didn’t take long for the call to connect.

“Elena?” The voice on the other end sounded surprised.

Elena gave a small smile. “Hi, Tamara.”

There was a brief silence before a hysterical voice rang out. “OH MY GOD! ELENA! IS THIS REALLY YOU?!”

Elena laughed softly. “Of course it’s me.”

“Where have you been?! Five years with no news! I thought you had disappeared forever!”

Elena sighed. “I didn’t disappear, Tamara. I was just busy with my life as a wife and a mother.”

Tamara snorted. “What kind of marriage makes a Queen Elisabeth vanish from the fashion world just like that?! Do you know how many people have been looking for you?! You’re a legend! Everyone is still wondering where the mysterious designer went!”

Elena smiled faintly. “I’m coming back, Tamara.”

Tamara was silent for a few seconds before finally screaming, “ARE YOU SERIOUS?! ELENA, ARE YOU REALLY COMING BACK?!”

Elena nodded, even though Tamara couldn’t see it. “Yes, I want to get back into business. I want to reclaim my position.”

“Oh my God… you’re not joking, are you, Elena?” Tamara’s voice was filled with excitement. “Wait a minute, are you coming back under your real name or keeping your pseudonym?”

Elena thought for a moment before answering confidently, “For now, I’ll remain Queen Elisabeth. I want the world to remember who I am before they know who I really am.”

Tamara chuckled. “I like the way you think. Alright, so what’s the plan?”

Elena leaned back against the car seat. “I want to start with a new collection. I’ve been on hiatus for five years; I need something that will make a breakthrough. I want everyone to know that Queen Elisabeth is back.”

Tamara laughed happily. “Oh, that’s amazing, Elena! You’re really going to shake the fashion world again! I can’t wait!”

Elena smiled. “I need your help, Tamara. I need the best team, I need resources, and most importantly, I want to make the world interested in me again.”

Tamara took a deep breath, sounding extremely enthusiastic. “Elena, leave everything to me. I’ll arrange everything. Just tell me when you’re ready, and I’ll contact our people.”

Elena looked straight ahead, her eyes full of determination. “I’m ready, Tamara. I’m ready to take back what’s rightfully mine.”

Tamara laughed in excitement. “Then get ready, Queen Elisabeth! The world will know you’re back!”

Elena smiled confidently. This was the beginning of everything. No more women being oppressed. No more wives being treated as useless.

Now, the world would see her standing at the top—with her own name.

“Damian! You will regret underestimating me! And I will keep the child in my womb,” Elena said to herself.

I don’t think she should have said wants to see him regret. Should have said something like “From this moment, I will never think of you again.”

  • The Rise of the Betrayed Billionaire's Ex-Wife   Chapter 300

CHAPTER 300One week later, the awards hall that evening was filled with the glow of crystal lights. Guests were dressed in formal attire, the sound of conversation blending with soft music. Olivia sat in the front row with Elena and Nathan. Her face looked calm, though her hands were slightly cold with nervousness.“Relax, Liv,” Elena whispered while holding her hand. “Whatever the result, Mommy is proud.”“I know, Mom,” Olivia replied with a small smile. The host stepped onto the stage. “The Best Architectural Design Award of the Year goes to—Olivia Lancaster.”Applause erupted. Olivia froze for a moment, then stood up. Nathan patted her shoulder. “Go.”Olivia walked onto the stage, accepted the trophy, then looked at the audience. “Thank you. I dedicate this award to my family, especially my Mommy, Elena, who taught me that design is not just about form, but about the human lives within it.”Applause rang out once again. Olivia stepped down from the stage, and Elena hugged her tigh

CHAPTER 299One year passed quickly. That morning, the Nathan family’s dining room felt lively with light conversation and the clinking of cutlery. Elena sat at the end of the table, reading from her tablet, occasionally smiling to herself. Nathan sipped his coffee calmly, observing the warm atmosphere that filled the house.“Mommy keeps smiling to herself. What news is it this time?” Katty asked as she took a seat.Elena looked up. “The latest article. Mommy’s spring collection was chosen as the opening show for this year’s Paris Fashion Week.”Katty let out a soft whistle. “A Queen will always be a Queen.”Nathan smiled proudly. “Congratulations, my love.”“Thank you,” Elena replied as she turned toward Olivia, who had just entered wearing her work blazer. “And that’s not all. Olivia also received an invitation to present in Berlin next week.”Olivia laughed softly. “Mommy is exaggerating. It’s just an architecture forum.”Nathan shook his head. “An international forum. Not everyone

CHAPTER 298That afternoon, Olivia had just arrived home. She placed her work bag on the sofa and took off her shoes slowly. Her body was tired, but her mind felt even more crowded after her meeting with Ricky earlier that day.“Elena?” Nathan called from the dining room. “Liv is home.”Elena immediately came out of the kitchen while drying her hands. “Liv, have you eaten?”“Yes, Mom,” Olivia answered briefly. She sat down on the sofa and leaned back. “I had lunch outside.”Elena looked at her daughter with an expression that was hard to read. “With whom?”Olivia let out a small sigh. “With Uncle Ricky.”Elena paused for a moment, then sat on the chair across from Olivia. “Oh… Ricky.”Nathan also sat down, observing the atmosphere that suddenly felt slightly awkward. “That dream house project?”“Yes, Dad. We inspected the site, then had lunch for a bit.”Elena nodded slowly. “You look tired, Liv.”“Quite,” Olivia answered honestly. “Lately, a lot of projects have been coming in.”Elen

CHAPTER 297After inspecting the second floor and confirming several minor revisions to the beam structure, Olivia closed her tablet. She removed her project helmet and handed it to the site staff.“That’s enough for today. Please note all the changes we discussed earlier,” Olivia said.“Yes, Miss Olivia,” the foreman replied.Ricky stood beside her and removed his helmet as well. “You look tired.”Olivia shrugged with a faint smile. “A bit. But it’s still manageable.”Ricky glanced at the watch on his wrist. “It’s already past lunchtime. Have you eaten?”Olivia shook her head. “Not yet. I forgot earlier.”Ricky was silent for a moment, then spoke carefully. “If that’s the case… would you like to have lunch together? There’s a small restaurant nearby—quiet, not crowded.”Olivia looked at him for a few seconds. There was no awkwardness like she had imagined. Instead, it felt normal.“Sure,” she finally answered. “I am hungry.”Ricky smiled slightly. “Alright. I’ll get the car.”Inside

  • The Rise of the Betrayed Billionaire's Ex-Wife   Chapter 296

CHAPTER 296A few days later, the construction site of the house had been busy since morning. The sound of machines, workers moving back and forth, and the building framework beginning to rise made the area look alive. Olivia wore a white safety helmet and a safety vest, holding a tablet while discussing matters with the foreman.“For the eastern-side windows, please make sure the lighting is maximized,” Olivia said firmly yet calmly. “I don’t want the living room to be dark in the morning.”The foreman nodded. “Understood, Miss Olivia. We’ll adjust it again.”Olivia marked several notes on her tablet. “And the small garden at the back, don’t forget the distance between the stepping stones according to the drawing. That’s important.”“Yes, Miss.”Olivia nodded in satisfaction. She stepped slightly away, gazing at the building that was slowly approaching its final form. This house always made her feel strange. Every detail felt too familiar. Too perfectly aligned with her taste.“Why d

Three months had passed since that day. Time moved slowly, yet it never truly stopped. Olivia stood by the window of her apartment, gazing at the city of New York as it gradually became wrapped in the soft glow of the afternoon light. Her hair was now tied back simply, her face calmer, though her eyes carried a different kind of maturity. On her work desk sat a small framed photo of herself and Arnold. Olivia looked at it for a moment, then took a deep breath.“I’ve tried, Arnold,” she said softly. “Little by little.”She no longer cried every night. The tightness in her chest was still there, but it had transformed into memories she kept carefully. She learned to accept, even though she never truly forgot. There was a knock on the door.“Liv?” Elena’s voice came from outside. “Mommy’s coming in, okay?”“Yes, Mom.”Elena entered with a warm smile. She looked around Olivia’s room, which was now neater, filled with architectural models and rolled-up design papers.“You’re not leaving ye
