Chapter Thirty

Cassidy POV

I was awoken by a hose spraying wolfsbane at me from below. I cry out in pain as it tears into my skin. Some of it getting into my throat and burning me from the inside as I instinctively swallow. I hear laughter at my pain and I open my eyes for the first time in this room. I’ve been too scared; I didn’t want them to see the fear in my eyes but I couldn’t keep my eyes closed forever. I look around and notice it’s a big concrete warehouse and I was on top of some sort of raised platform made of concrete. The room was brightly lit by heaps of industrial lamps on the roof. There wasn’t much in the room except two cars and the van I assume to have been brought here in, by the one roller door at the end of the building. From what I could tell that door was the only way in or out of here.
