Lotus POV

As we drove down the winding road that led to the cabin, I couldn't help but feel grateful for Seth's thoughtfulness. He knew I had been feeling sick and stressed lately, and this weekend getaway was just what I needed. The scenery was breathtaking, and the peacefulness of the woods was a welcome change from the noise and chaos of the city.

When we arrived at the cabin, I was immediately impressed. It was a beautiful log cabin, with a wraparound porch and a stunning view of the lake. Seth had made sure it was fully stocked with all my favorite snacks and treats, and he had even hired a personal chef to prepare all our meals so that I wouldn't have to lift a finger.

Despite the idyllic setting, I couldn't shake off the nausea and weakness that had been plaguing me for weeks. I spent most of my time lying on the couch, wrapped in a blanket and sipping ginger tea.
