*Lotus POV*

As we stood there in silence, I could feel the tension between us growing. I knew that I couldn't trust him, but at the same time, I had no one else to turn to. I was alone in this mansion, surrounded by danger on all sides. And to make matters worse, Seth was the only one who could protect me.

I sighed heavily, resigned to my fate. "Fine, I'll stay," I said, defeated.

Seth's lips curled into a sly smile, and I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. "Good choice," he said before turning and walking away, leaving me standing alone in the dimly lit hallway.

As I followed him to the dining hall, I couldn't help but feel nervous. Seth's angry expression was still etched on his face, and it made me wonder what could be bothering him. As we sat down to eat, Seth's expression remained stoic and unreadable. The only sounds coming from the clink of utensils against the plates and the occasional sip of blood from the glass cup in Seth's hand.
