I am unsure if I am more pissed off or surprised at everyone in the room. After our meeting three days ago, I called the others on my council for a meeting. When I explained why this meeting was taking place, everyone was shocked. I didn’t tell them why I met with a dark fae. They don’t need to know about Sienna’s powers and heritage. I am more than comfortable with them believing that she is human now. I spoke with Dad about it, and he agreed that, for now, they don’t need to know. I trust most of them, but as I figured, Zeke is having a temper tantrum. He was against us forging alliances with both packs, the witch coven, and the fae. When I told them about meeting with Jakari, he lost his mind. He has been on his rant for about ten minutes, and it is on my last nerve. Zeke is being overly argumentative and combative today. I mean, the guy is always an asshole, but today is being an even bigger ass than normal. I might need this opportunity to kick his ass off the council

    I let out a groan as I try to move my arm. I can’t see to move it, and I slam my eyes shut when the bright light assaults them. I try to turn over, but again something is stopping me. I opened my eyes and saw my little sunrise pressed against me. She had her arm across my chest, and one leg was thrown over mine. I bring my other across my body and run my finger along her cheek.
