Mag-log inEvan is a non-believer of fate nor destiny. Not until, he met Shannon. There is something strange that pulls him towards her. Something so strong that it can drive him mad. But he despise her- she is a human being. However, no matter how he wanted to avoid and ignore her completely, he can't- he keeps on coming back to her. Was it a mere obsession or...love? Il pleut.
Pas une pluie douce ou mélancolique. Non.
Ma capuche me colle au crâne.
Je me fige.
Mes doigts tremblent.
Trop calmes.
L’un d’eux est massif. Un manteau long noir, bien taillé. Trop net.
Il parle d’une voix grave. Un murmure coupant.
— Tu pensais qu’on te laisserait parler, hein ?
Tu me déçois.
L’homme à genoux tente de bredouiller. Mais l’autre lève la main.
Et soudain, il sort une arme. Un silencieux.
Je me mords la lèvre. Je sais ce qui va venir.
— Pas un mot de plus, souffle-t-il.
Bang.
Le corps s’écroule.
Je recule. Je perds l’équilibre. Mon dos heurte une poubelle métallique. Un bruit. Léger, mais réel.
Merde.
Je me plaque au sol. Ma respiration se fait démente.
Ils m’ont entendue.
Non. Peut-être pas. Peut-être…
Des pas. Lents. Précis.
Je me lève et cours. Instinct. Terreur.
Je bondis derrière une benne. Je me recroqueville. Je retiens mon souffle.
Et la voix. Plus proche. Cette même voix.
— Tu peux sortir. Je sais que t’es là.
Mon cœur manque un battement.
Je serre mon couteau. C’est dérisoire. Je le sais.
— J’ai vu ton ombre. J’ai entendu ta chute. Et j’ai vu ton sac. Un sac d’enfant.
Il marque une pause.
Mon souffle se bloque. Je ne réponds pas.
Il approche encore.
— Tu te caches bien, le garçon. Tu as de la chance. Tu pourrais me servir.
Soudain, une main m’attrape.
Je hurle. Je tente de frapper. Il bloque mon poignet. Me plaque contre la tôle glacée.
Son visage est proche du mien. Il me jauge.
Il sourit. Froidement.
— Un petit témoin. Ma nuit est plus intéressante que prévu.
Je me débats. Je le griffe. Il grogne.
— Calme-toi, gamin. Je vais pas te tuer. Pas ce soir.
Il m’immobilise d’une seule main. L’autre fouille mes poches.
— Tu portes un couteau ? Brave petit. T’as pas froid aux yeux.
Il le jette plus loin, sans ménagement.
Ses yeux se posent sur moi. Intenses. Lents. Il scrute.
Je baisse les paupières. Je serre les dents.
Il dit :
— Tu es qui, au juste ?
Je ne dis rien.
— Ton nom.
Toujours rien.
Il approche sa bouche de mon oreille. Sa voix est un souffle :
— J’ai demandé ton nom, gamin.
Je mens.
— Léo.
Il répète doucement :
— Léo… Hm. Ça te va bien. Discret.
That night was long and cold, just like the many nights that passed. He was tired of hearing his parents shouting at each other. It was always like this. He keeps on hearing things he don't want. Their fighting never seems ceased rather, it becomes more intense as the days passed."I can't take this anymore, Lucienne! Please, just let me leave.."" Yngrid... "" You said you love me. You promised me that it will worked out in the end- na masasanay din ako sa paraan ng pamumuhay niyo pero hindi eh. I have been stucked here for 10 years," hikbi nito.Their mother is a human which makes them half-blood.
There are beads of sweat all over her face kahit na sobrang tutok ng hangin sa kanyang mukha. There were also dried tears in her cheeks Nagpalinga-linga siya. She was most definitely not in her own room. It was too cramped. Her belongings are all stock in a big brown boxes that are scattered in the floor. Her bed is just enough to cater her slim figure, hindi na niya kayang magpaligid-ligid gaya ng kanyang nakasanayan sa mansyon. Then it hit her. She is no longer there. Nasa dati siyang apartment nila noon ng kanyang ina. The first time she got here, she could not help but imagine her mother coming from the kitchen, smiling at her, just like she did before whenever she comes home after class. It feels empty. All it has are memories of long forgotten days. But then, this is all she has now. Turned out, her mother has purchased the property long before. Mag-iisang li

~Shannon~ " Hi everyone and to my beautiful interviewer for this morning, Miss YumiHime. You know, its just that the whole thing seems surreal." " Yeah actually me too. Akala ko tatanda ako malayo sa sibilisasyon but then, our leader has decided to let the world know that we- vampires actually exist." It's been a month already, Shannon thought.
